He'd met up with Castiel, Jo, and Andrea, though he'd been a little skittish around Castiel. The angel volunteering to help had surprised him more than he'd let on, and when he had a moment after all this was over, it would probably drift back into his mind and make him think. Right now, though, he was just a little awkward. Sure, he recognized it had been stupid of him to mouth off to the other one, but he was still no happier at Zachariah or less awkward around other angels for it.
He mostly kept to himself, affecting an almost glacial cold and aloofness that he didn't actually feel. His usual 'working' behavior was usually only a little looser, but this didn't qualify as normal working conditions. When Castiel had made it clear it was time, Pike had stepped up, with one hand wrapped around the flask of Holy Water in his pocket.
Once they were there, he glanced around to see who else had arrived. Every bone in his body wanted to charge in, but it had been his brain that had kept him alive as a hunter for so long, and it didn't fail him now. "Now we play the waiting game," he mumbled ruefully.
