Entry tags:clarissa morgenstern, needy lesnicki, seeley booth

Who: Clarissa Morgenstern, Needy Lesnicki, Seeley Booth
What: Shenanigans in LA
When: Today, late morning
Where: Los Angeles, a bank. One that Needy just happened to rob before.
Rating: TB
Status: Incomplete
Notes: Yami, Anne, if this isn't okay, let me know.

It hadn't taken them long to figure out where they had to go for the assignment they were being sent on. Before they had even got a phone call from home base, they had spoted the news report of a woman who had murdered her son and husband, with eyewitnes reports from the neighbours. The strange thing was, at the same time the murder was going down, the woman was also being filmed at work. She was a bankteller, and at the exact time her family was murdered, she was helping a customer. Weird? Little bit. The woman didn't have a twin or sister. Police were just confused, and holding the woman- just in case.

Between Booth being an FBI agent, Clary being able to go invisible and Needy's handly ability to fly, they'd managed to get a peek at the bodies, and to get a look at the tape. They'd used Booth to once again speak to the witnesses, and gathered as much as their own information as they could. There wasn't much at their house, so they'd decied to go the woman's work, and see if the people she worked with had noticed anything at all.

While Booth was being all official, Clary was sneaking around the bank, avoiding touching anyone, and Needy was outside, last she heard. Clary had broken into staff files and checked out the now widowed woman, but nothing of interest was really there. After about half an hour of poking around in places that were probably really illegal to be in, she ducked into a quiet room and turned on her ear peice to the comm links. "This is place is dry. You guys have any luck?"

There had to be something, somehwere, it was only a matter of time until they found it. Clary fell silent as a manager walked past the door of the room she was in. If she wasn't invisible, she'd be sticking out like a swore thumb. Between her black outfit and the two seraph blades on her back, she hardly fit in with the other people in the bank.

While Clary was plundering through files, Needy was up top, checking out the roof of the bank to see if there was anything worthwhile at all. There didn't seem to be, of course, but that wasn't all that much of a surprise. She just thought she should check since getting up there would be way easier for her than it it would have been for the others. All she had to do was slip around to the back alley and fly.

There was a slight frown on her face as she made her way back towards the rear ledge, but a quick glance down and she saw someone shoving something into the dumpster before slipping back into the building. And it didn't look like a trashbag, either.

It didn't take long for Needy to get back to the ground, and she didn't even flinch at having to touch the dumpster. There was a time when she would have but whatever. It was a non-issue these days. What did make her make a face was what was inside the dumpster. It looked like a mound of flesh, felt kinda like a mound of flesh but a little off. "I'm pretty sure that whatever it is that's going on here? It's here at the bank," she said, knowing that the other two were hooked up to the comm link that Barbra had made for everyone. "A woman just shoved what looks like human skin into the dumpster. Like. A lot of it. A whole body's worth. And it's not it pieces or anything."

The change of scenery was doing Booth a world of good. The best part was, he hadn't had a blackout since they arrived either. Had it not been a murder case he'd have actually been in a good mood. But he was wearing his official FBI-face, which meant very little room for it when he split off from the two girls to start questioning. While the Clary went in for a look around, he pulled out a notepad and started scribbling things down as he interviewed some of the woman's coworkers. He asked the typical protocol questions out of the FBI handbook, but then took it a little deeper to see if he could get a feel for the woman's life style. Booth was an expert when it came to reading people. He followed his gut and his gut and it hadn't mislead him yet.

Seeley had years of experience speaking with witness' when it came to murder cases. So there was no problem on his end getting information out of them. The woman hadn't shown any red flags. Had no record. Nothing. Her manager confirmed it when he was questioned. Seeley's brows furrowed when he heard Clary's and Needy's voices over the comm linkup system in his ear. That was going to take some getting used to. Booth wasn't exactly the most technologically advanced person in the world. It was some miracle he knew how to text and use his phone at all much less a comm link. Turning to walk away from the woman's manager who gave him a confused look, Booth motioned with a hand to him. " Excuse me. It'll just be a minute." Said both to the manager and his current team on the line as he left the private office he'd used as a temporary interrogation room into the hallway. "Did you get a look at her?"

"Ew, gross." came her response though the comm-links, with a look on her face that matched the disgust in her voice. Monsters were so much easier to deal with when they were just big, ugly and had 'attack and kill' in mind. That was seriously nasty, and part of her had no desire to go out and look for it. "Alright, skin-suite. Ring any bells to anyone?" she was going through her mind, trying to pick up on things she had read or heard other people talking about. Unfortunately she never got to take the class to bring her up to speed, or as up to speed as possible. She had less knowledge to ride on. "We can rule out demons, werewolves and vampires." obviously, but probably had to be said.

Frankly she had a lot of studying to do when it came to monsters in the area, and she fully intended to keep on going with the effort. "Hey Booth- ask to see the security tapes of who just entered through the back building." she said in her ear piece as she moved. "Find out where they're headed."

After checking the hallway, she slipped out of the room and and moved quietly through the building, make her way to the front door. She had to wait until someone else opened the door, and then slipped out behind them. The trash can most likely meant out back, so that was where she took off to in a jog. Soon enough she was coming up on Needy and the trash. "It's just me." she informed Needy, who probably heard her coming but couldn't see her. She slopped to a stop, her attention moving to the garbage. "Full skin suit, huh? It didn't happen to be of that mother, did it?" though her guess was Needy didn't pick it up to find out.
