"Me? Oh, yes. Sometimes." Moving closer, he lowered himself down to sit beside her. "It seems a bit odd but sometimes I miss living in the forest. And I never thought I would hear myself say that I can assure you." She probably had no idea what he was talking about. And probably cared even less. "But being inside sometimes feels far too strange." And of course, there were not the Sheriff's men to worry about here. Or the cold. Or the rain. Because he could just go back inside. All in all, it was a lot nicer being on the roof than in the forest.
