Martha's eyes were pulled from the sky when a figure walked before her line of view. She was feeling rather out of it.... groggy might be the right term, but she couldn't right away tell who it was. But she knew that it was a man... or a tall bulky woman. It wasn't until the figure spoke that she knew who it was.
Despite the fact that she tried to smile, it just didn't work. She wasn't in a smiling mood. She recognized Much and nodded as if to say hello. The stars seemed to dull a bit after she'd looked at them for a while, the new focus was probably a good thing. "Company couldn't possibly hurt," she said, trying to sound more cheerful than she was. sitting here alone certainly wasn't doing anything. "So? come up here often?" she asked. It was lame, but small talk didn't seem all that important at the moment... sitting here in a corner on the roof... of a place that wasn't even home, but had become such as a forced choice...
