Much wasn't sure if this was the best idea. Robin had talked about him getting to know other people. And he had been thinking about it. He really did want another friend in this place. Martha had been a very good one in that strange other place they had been in, he was sure of it. But he wasn't like Robin. He never really knew how to just talk to strangers as easily as his friend could. But, it was worth a shot. Besides, she had said she would go with him to Marian and Robin's wedding, hadn't she?
Making his way up to the roof where Martha had said she might go to get some air, Much pushed open the door and stepped outside. Looking around the relatively dark area, he spotted her sitting hunkered down in a corner. Walking over (in front of her so he didn't sneak up and surprise her) he stopped a short distance away.
He knew that if he had seen what she had then he would be feeling unsettled. He had seen more than enough bloodshed and death in his time. And the place they had been in had seemed so normal. Well, normal except for the ghosts. So in the end, not all that normal really.
"Hello," he began. Which was the best place to start, really. She looked like she was lost in thought. Maybe he shouldn't interrupt her after all. What if she was trying to work out some of those things she had said she had to deal with? "I thought that you might like some company."
