Christy wasn't sure how it had come to this. Standing, waiting for everyone to be evacuated so she and Adam could be given the orders to burn the building, she'd started some small fires already in the higher levels, and they were down to the last few floors, everyone was clearing out. It had been a fairly simple plan, use the power she'd discovered to burn the building once it was salted, Burn the remains like those Ghost Facers had said. Burn the remains meant burning the workplace.

And while there was a strange thrill in that it was nothing compared to the thrill she got as a fireball emerged in her hands, just one simple flame that became more, and more. Fire was beautiful really, she'd never seen it like that before.

She suddenly wanted them to hurry up. Give her and her flames the go ahead to work. Once that was one she could get this all started. Save people. She'd be saving people. Once again that voice at the back of her mind, eerily like a childhood imaginary friend she'd once had, spoke softly. Told her she was better than this, worth more than acting as a lapdog to people she barely knew.

Christy shut the voice away. She didn't need it now.

Billie & Christy - sister panic

She had reached the sidewalks of the burning building when it hit her like a two-by-four to the face. Her name was Billie Jenkins. She was, in fact, not a devout Christian, and frankly those people scared her. The blonde stopped dead in her tracks, face screwing up in horror. "What the f-" she was cut off as she wheeled around and gaped at the building. The whole thing had caught on fire, and fast. How many people had that kind of power?

"Christy." she said, that one named willed with panic and worry. Had she started the fire? What if she was hurt? Trapped inside? Something had fallen on her? Or maybe she had got out?

There were people filing out of the building, escaping the flames. She pushed her way past another woman who was suddenly standing in her way, and started to move through the crowds, going elbows and hands, not really caring who she shoved away from her, and not letting anyone bump into her. "Christy!" she called, searching the different faces, looking to the blonde women she came across. Why were there so many damn blonde women?

Nevermind that she had just had her mind screwed with, or that she had been acting like a complete idiot for the past little while. It didn't matter, she could bitch about that after she had located the person that counted the most. The sisters would be okay, Billie knew that. She also knew Christy could take care of herself, but that didn't stop her from panicking any less.

Christy watched the flames, sending occasional fireballs into join the others, let the fire burn brighter. She remembered the last fireball she’d created in her world and even remembered why much as thinking about it actually upset her sometimes. Billie had chosen the Halliwell sisters over her own sister and she’d been so angry. So very angry. She was angry now even thinking it, and she scrunched her forhead the fire getting higher and brighter as she did. But a voice from the side of her, a familiar glimpse of blonde hair and worried sister gave her pause and the flame died.

The fireball fizzled at her fingertips as she turned to spot the sister she’d just been thinking about. Billie had been strange all the last few weeks. Religious. Christy had mostly ignored her in favour of her PR friends, which was sort of horrible wasn’t it. She’d gotten dreams near the end, dreams she now knew to be this life, to be Dumain. Dumain really would be so disappointed in them. But he wasn’t here, and Lilith hadn’t made move enough to really make Christy decide one way or the other what was to be done.

“Billie, over here!” she called, pleased, moving her sister back a little from the building. Not that it mattered, all she had to do was take her sisters hand and there would be no building worth anything “It was my plan. All this. They said we should salt the building, so I did that and then I set it on fire. Me and that other guy. Adam, He can start fires too. Its a good plan isn’t it.” She supposed it should be.
