"Thanks. Sorry about the surprise." Sarah smiled apologetically as she read the writing and then took a seat across from her. "I've found that rain tends to relax me, when it hits the window." Something about the lulling repetition, the sounds of it. It usually had a calming effect on her. Not that she was stressed. Sarah had a pretty normal and boring life as far as she could remember.
She had unwrapped her muffin and took a bite or two. As she ate, her eyes briefly wandered to the lunchbox. It looked interesting, she'd never seen any like that one. But she wasn't one to pry even if she were curious. Instead, she thought it best to first introduce herself. SHe spoke up after taking a careful sip from the coffee, "I don't think we've met before, my name is Sarah.. Sarah Meyer. I'm in childcare department."
