From where she was sitting, she couldn't actually see who came through the door when it was open. If they wanted to speak to her they'd come to the desk, if not, most people knew how things worked and they would go about their own routines in the gym. If they didn't need her, that just meant she could stay sitting. But the footsteps getting closer indicated that someone was coming to the desk. Thank god.
As much as she liked having a break, she would rather have herself occupied. It wasn't until she saw the face of her fiance that she realized that this was the perfect way to be occupied. She always looked forward to his visits. It helped that he was one of the men in charge, otherwise getting away with this wouldn't be easy. She heard tell of a few office romances, though it seemed very few were public, most of them she barley knew anything about. It sounded like a lot of drama- something she had no interest in.
"Downtime." she said with a shrug. "Eventually they have to go back to work." employees couldn't stay in here all day, unless they worked in here. Tossing the papers she was filling out lightly onto her desk, Kara dropped her legs off the desk and sat up straight in her chair, a smile on her face she turned to look directly at him. "And you should talk. No meetings?" she asked with a grin, not that she was going to complain. He had too many of those anyway.
