Who:Booth, Marian, Robin (posting order)
What:meeting up.
When: Afternoon of November 13th
Where: Robins Archery Range.
Warnings: likely none. Booth will be to busy internally fanboying to notice if there are any anyway.

Booth was at work when Marian and Robin wanted to meet. Normally he would have said they should hold off until later but he figured this was the best way to do it. Seeley liked to keep business and pleasure separate but he made an exception this time. It was both. He had news of an intern program for Marian after talking to his supervisor he grabbed his keys and got into his crossover. It wasn't as cool as the Sequoya he had back home but he wasn't complaining (to much) it was the FBI's car. They paid for it, they gave him a gas allowance. They took care of it. He just drove it and signed a waiver not to crash it or damage it. He was a good driver so he had no worry signing anything. He'd never gotten a ticket in his life, and was even trained to drive squad cars and military tanks. It didn't take him long to find the archery range they mentioned, and Booth parked his car.

He pocketed the keys and headed into the woodsy area where he figured the range was, away from traffic and away from the offices. That's usually how those things worked anyway. Adjusting his shades on his face, Booth looked around, not exactly sure where the two legends were who wanted to meet him. Robin Hood and Lady Marian, he was still having issues wrapping his head around it. Robin Hood was a legendary outlaw, maybe being a law man he should have been more worried. But Booth respected what Robin did, steal from the rich to give to the poor, and besides that the lawmen were corrupt. Raising taxes to their liking to support themselves and not the town. So Booth wasn't worried at all. He was dressed up in a way that screamed FBI. Usual black suit, but his tie was loud. It was red with yellow streaks, and at his waistline his favored cocky belt buckle that made him stand out in a crowd. He didn't like to be inside the box. That wasn't how the FBI was supposed to be in his eyes. His gun was at his waist, along with his badge and he had his hands in his pockets. Booth was definitely a little out of place and a little lost.

Robin was just about to agree, when Marian did it for him. Not that he minded, although he rose an eyebrow at her good-naturedly when she handed Booth one of his arrows, and gave Robin her borrowed bow. Nodding to Booth, he gestured toward the lane he had just been using. "I don't mind at all. Do you know how to shoot?" Noticing the gun at Booth's belt, he chuckled and clarified, "An arrow, that is."

He had been introduced to firearms during the few days he'd spent at Bobby's boot camp, and had found them... interesting. Part of him loved them; there was a definite thrill that came from holding a device in one's hand in which a small explosion took place. And the possibility of mastering another weapon appealed greatly to him. But, all the same, there was another part of him that shied away from them. Perhaps, if he were to become more familiar with them, he would not be so wary-- after all, the basic intent was the same with the bow: using a projectile to take down a target.

With the bow, Robin knew how to do that in a non-lethal fashion. To be sure, he had killed more men than he had only injured, mostly in the Holy Land. As far as a gun went, he could just as easily kill someone by accident as he could by failing to do so in a situation that required it. And the shotguns... he knew they might be necessary, but he was not keen on them.

However, none of that really occurred to him consciously, merely reflections flitting through the back of his mind, so it did not register in his expression, nor in his mood. Instead, he offered, "I'd be glad to show you, if not."
