Who: Sam!Buffy and Ruby!Dean What: Flailing When: Morning! Around 9am Where: Ruby's apartment Rating: PG-13 Status: Incomplete
She'd survived, and that's what counted. She felt constantly sick from what she had to do to survive, but she'd managed, the world was safe, and no one was going to die from the end of the world. At least not that end of the world. Buffy hadn't been in the party mood. Killing someone and being run through with a sword did that do you. So she'd stolen Dean, who was now thankfully in his right mind, and headed off to bed. Or at least they went to the bed. He was her perfect escape, really. Human, which made him better for her than some of her past relationships, but he was just the right amount of monster for her to relate to. He got it. He wasn't a Slayer, but he was sure as hell chosen for something her, and he just got it.
Plus, she'd fallen asleep knowing that next friday and had a date-date, which she hadn't had in years. She might have squeed a little when Dean had asked, but she'd never admit that.
The next morning her mind slowly, very slowly came to focus, she was quite content, which was the first sign that something was wrong. Having just been run through, and then subjecting herself to...activities, she should have been in some form of pain. She healed, but not that quickly. The confusion snapped her mind awake and Buffy sat up in bed.
This wasn't her apartment. Why did she have a bad feeling?
Turning, she looked down beside her to where Dean was. And found Ruby. A fast asleep, apparently naked Ruby. Don't panic, don't panic!
Slowly, very slowly, she held up her own hand. That wasn't her head. Grabbing a blanket off the bed, she wrapped it around her. She was tall, very, very tall, the blanket was only helping so much. She knew what was coming, and she didn't want to believe it. Making her way toward the mirror, she bent down (a first), and then glanced at her reflection.
Sam Winchester was staring her in the face. She was Sam. She was a boy. Penis!
Buffy did the first thing that came to her mind. She screamed.
