"Crazy people?" Paige asked with a smile. "Or well. Crazier than we are." Which was saying something. Given how wacky Paige tended to be and how out there even the most reserved members of her family could be ... It was really saying something. "The weird looks are the best. Especially when you're stuck between work and researching a demon. And you don't have time to think up of a good enough excuse." Paige had taken to just shrugging it off and her dry cleaner had taken to not giving her the looks in places she could see them.
When Prue mentioned the 'one thing'. Paige felt a slightly sober mood hit her. If it wasn't for this place, she wouldn't be having this wonderful opportunity. "I'd be willing to deal with the weird demons of this place for that one thing." Paige said gently, but her smile teasing and accepting that wasn't something Prue might want to talk about right now.
"It really is." Paige said when they stepped outside. "I still had a car back home but for the most part, I orbed to a lot of the places that I needed to get to. It made things easier when fighting demons." Getting from place to place and not having to worry so much about traffic. "Though, let me tell you, it was a pain in the ass to get a handle of at first." Those stories, were embarrassing but she was saying what she was saying now and willing to share them for Prue's benefit. They both had a lot to share with each other. Not only about each other but also about what they had both missed out on.
"Shall we?" Paige asked, jokingly holding out her elbow to ... her sister.
