Slowly, Prue felt her nervousness leave her. She hadn't thought that Paige would bite her or anything, but it was a strange thing to meet a sister you never knew you had, especially when Phoebe and Piper knew her. "Who does miss the demon goo? Paying for dry cleaning was such a pain. Not to mention trying to avoid the odd looks from the dry cleaners." There was a lot she actually did miss from home, but Prue wasn't exactly sure she wanted to go home now. From what Phoebe had told her, she'd left their world not that long before she had been killed. Why would she go back home only to end up dying? She had obviously been pulled here for a reason, and as far as she was concerned, she wanted to stay here. Of course, that would probably mean the course of events in their world would be altered, and while Prue knew the consequences of such a thing, she wasn't willing to accept death. She was a fighter, and prideful and headstrong to a fault, but that's who she was. "Yeah, I would deal with it, too. Well...except for one thing." She couldn't bring herself to talk about her death. She did her best to hold in the intense emotions that thought stirred up within her. She hated showing weakness and vulnerability, and she didn't want to start bringing down the mood of the conversation. She managed to keep the smile on her face, covering the darker emotions within.
"I am proud of her for finally learning to ask," Prue said with a light laugh, successfully refocusing her attention from her emotions to something else. It had gotten highly annoying when Phoebe would borrow her best clothes without asking, especially when she had wanted to wear them. The story of Prue's life could be seen in her clothes, starting out as being more conservative to reflect the repressed and business-minded woman she had been after Grams had died and she had to pay the bills. It also reflected how she had acted more like a mother than a sister to Piper and Phoebe for several years. But once she had become a witch and embraced that destiny, she began transforming into someone more carefree and her clothes started becoming more flirty and lively, even introducing colors and patterns. One could say her style became reminiscent of a somewhat bohemian photographer. At the question of taking a taxi or orbing, Prue gave Paige an uncertain look. When Paige had orbed her back to the apartments when she'd first arrived, she'd felt so woozy. She had shimmered before when Cole had taken her into the past, but she had never orbed. "Well, if orbing would save some money and not draw any unwanted attention, I say why not? It is a pretty handy mode of transportation."
