Who: Tim and Dawn
What: hot chocolate
When: after the comm post
Where: lobby then the city
Warnings: probably none

Tim had been in a miserable state since Cissy arrived. He felt bad. He should have been happy to see his teammate like she was to see him, but it brought up so many unwanted memories that instead of those feelings all he was graced with was despair. Cissy came from a time when Bart was still alive. There Bart. Tim came from one where he wasn't. A world where Kid Flash and Superboy were non existent. He hadn't quite dealt with it all himself, and now he'd have to figure out some way to tell Cissy that their good friends were dead. That two of five were gone and he didn't know if he could do it. Bart and Kon's deaths wounded Tim deeply.

He hadn't quite digested them himself. It left a bitter flavor in the back of his throat. It left him restless with a need for an escape. Even if it was only temporary, he'd take it. He waited in the lobby for Dawn just as soon as he got off line, not wanting to wait another minute in that complex where he was starting to feel so smothered and trapped. He needed air and air with Dawn was even better. He wasn't really paying attention to his surroundings, though he should have been looking out for the girl he was waiting for. He was way to trapped in his own thoughts and own head. He was leaning against a wall with his arms folded and face blank despite the worries his face didn't betray the emotion, but his body language did. He knew that was something he'd have to work on, but that was the furthest thing from his mind.

"You have no idea." Tim said with a tiny frown, but he stuck his free hand in his pocket and shook his head. "Lets just forget about it for now." The tone came out a little harsher than he intended, but Tim really wasn't known for being so open and sharing his emotions and problems up front. He didn't even know how to deal with them really internally so when they were out there wide open problems erupted.

"A jukebox?" He laughed. Actually laughed. Not at her, but at the idea of a jukebox. He hadn't seen one of those in..well he'd only seen them in movies actually to be honest. "Maybe it is a diner. I don't know, I wasn't looking for it the last time I went."
