When her view suddenly filled with his face, she blinked, meeting his gaze. She gave a small shrug, pausing in the act of tying her boot. "It's nothing." But he didn't moved. Annoyed, she sighed, then rolled her eyes at him. "After you left, I took a nap, okay? Had another nightmare. No big deal." She straightened slowly. "I'll be fine."
Unless he asked, she was gonna let him think it was the same nightmare as before, with the guys she had killed and the Mayor and B. It'd be simpler that way. For some reason, though, thinking about the people at the complex maybe needing her help had make her think of her first vampire.
