Who: Jacen Solo & OTA What: Demo's with the shiny Lightsaber. Where: Back of the apartments When: A few hours after his last post Rating: TBD likely low Status: In Progress. Note: Multiple threads or one long linier thread, whichever you guys think works best?
The people here were very strange indeed. Enthused by his lightsaber and promises of a demo but not entirely wary enough of the Sith Lord in their midst. Of course he wasn't threatening them. Why would he? Jacen didn't want control, he didn't want power. Not here. All he'd ever done had been for Allana, so she'd grow in a world free of War. And he'd given her that at the expense of himself. At the expense of his name and his life. She wouldn't have a father but Tenel Ka would love that little girl enough for both of them. Thinking of his family Jacen began to run through a few calming exercises, it was bad enough they were going to make comments about the color of the blade, he didn't want them to see him make a mistake.
Not that he would. Jacen Solo hadn't made a technical mistake in years. Caedus even less so. But unleashing lightning or something of that like, his eyes taking on that yellow hue. It was strange, he was Caedus. He still was. But he didn't feel the need to extol it to the residents. It seemed the title of Darth shared by him and his Grandfather was known and feared here too. It was fair. It should be. But since he wasn't out to hurt these people, why should he make them fear him. So he went by his given name, not a thought for the parents that had given it to him and so recently learned to hate him with the rest.
Hate. It was a strange emotion, and even now he didn't think he hated anyone. Not even the blasted Correllians. Though if he'd have had the chance they wouldn't have a world now. Was that hate? Or logic. He liked to believe logic.
He stood, leaning against the wall of the apartments, waiting for people to arrive before kicking off the demo. He'd give them a show, show them why exactly having a Sith as an ally was a powerful asset.
And then he'd discuss perhaps watching those movies with one of them. He didn't think he wanted to do so alone.
