The social scene reigns supreme in Pride Falls. For generations, the gossip pages have made royalty of men and women, and reversed their fortunes just as surely.

Every season, the city's young folk flock to the most fashionable spots to make their faces known, to make names for themselves, and to obtain that most coveted prize of all – an excellent match. Even their elders are not immune to the heady call of notoriety. They too arrive to change out a bad hand dealt, or capitalize on a good one.

But the path forward is not without danger. Their worst enemies are their own closest friends, and everyone desires something – or has something to hide.

This was true in 1822, and it is still true now in 2022. Although the scenery is different in the modern age, not much about the game has changed. One question remains. Will you play?
