Three hundred years ago, a band of refugees abandoned their own dying, magical world to seek sanctuary in ours. While a small few chose to stand behind to safeguard the gate that had brought them here, the rest gave up their magic to integrate into societies across the world. But the gate is still open, and not everything that peers through means us well. These days there are too few keeping the dark dangers at bay, and the Wyrdwood knows it's time to call its children home...

Wyrdwood is a modern day, supernatural OC game with magic, monsters, weird-things-of-the-week, and slice-of-life components. Everyone living in The Glade is a descendant of magic-toting humans from another world, known only as Forebearers, granting them a special arcane talent and an animal form. The game explores the dynamics and interactions of these characters as they try to balance every day life and personal relationships with the unusual things the mysterious portal in the middle of their home keeps dishing out at them. This is all while trying to keep its existence hidden from the world they're collectively trying to protect.
