Welcome to Night Vale.

Night Vale is a cheerful town. A friendly town. A deeply, deeply weird town. It defies logic and reason and several scientific laws. But the people are warm and welcoming and it's easy to feel at home.

Is the Dog Park on the corner of Earl and Somerset, near the Ralph's, neither a park nor for dogs, and in fact a portal to a desert otherworld? Yes.

Is the library staffed by horrific and murderous librarians who won't die no matter how many times the library gets burned down? Yes.

Are there mysterious hooded figures around the town that defy comprehension? Yes.

Are there huge winged beings, all named Erika, who call themselves angels? Yes, but they're legally allowed to exist now, so that's progress.

Is one of those angels frequently nude? Yes, and we are so very sorry.

In 1950, an out-of-place artifact was discovered on a small island near Panamá. It was a discovery that would leave academia scratching its head. Years later, following the discovery of more OOPArts, undersea ruins—ruins that should not have existed—were found near that same little island, an island that would one day be known as the Independent Zone of Mar Luna. To this day, those artifacts and ruins, and the everyday weird that IZML residents swear by, continue to puzzle scientists, conspiracy theorists, cryptozoologists, and residents alike.

Elysium, a world so close and yet so very far away; a world that seemingly existed only in rumors and dreams. It was the urban legend everyone knew about—an internet conspiracy. Yet it stuck in the collective conscious of the people of Mar Luna. The truth evaded them, but Elysium was real. The memories were real. What was Elysium...and what happened to that world?

Anamnesia is an OC fantasy reincarnation GPSL. In a time yet unknown, an event occurred that caused souls from Elysium to be reborn on Earth. As the story develops in the present day, bits and pieces of the characters' Elysium pasts will be unlocked and explored, and the cast will discover who they were in Elysium, and why they ended up on Earth. PREMISE
Founded by a coven of Witches more than two hundred years ago, Mercy Cove is a town that is steeped in supernatural history. It plays home to a thriving art community, strong fishing and tourism industry, and a surprisingly large number of supernatural residents who have found sanctuary in these parts.

Situated on a ley line, Mercy Cove has acted as a beacon for supernaturals. Drawn to this place the way the first Witches were all those years ago. The various groups have learned to coexist, as much as anyone can yet while peace seems to have been achieved in this seaside town? It rarely stays that way for long.
