A friendly desert community where the sun is hot, the moon is beautiful, and mysterious lights pass overhead while we lay open-eyed, watching it all.

Welcome to Night Vale.

Night Vale is a cheerful town. A friendly town. A deeply, deeply weird town. It defies logic and reason and several scientific laws. But the people are warm and welcoming and it's easy to feel at home.

Is the Dog Park on the corner of Earl and Somerset, near the Ralph's, neither a park nor for dogs, and in fact a portal to a desert otherworld? Yes.

Is the library staffed by horrific and murderous librarians who won't die no matter how many times the library gets burned down? Yes.

Are there mysterious hooded figures around the town that defy comprehension? Yes.

Are there huge winged beings, all named Erika, who call themselves angels? Yes, but they're legally allowed to exist now, so that's progress.

Is one of those angels frequently nude? Yes, and we are so very sorry.

Enjoy your stay here in Night Vale. We're sure that before long you'll learn to love our friendly little town as much as we do.

This is the life you know very well.

You live it every day. It's difficult, it's riddled with uncertainty, and it is filled with joy, love, disappointment and pain. But sometimes you have a feeling that this is not your life. It's a feeling that can't be explained, but you spend your life trying to explain it, trying to make sense of it. Valar explores a duality embodied within each character.

One version of the self exists in Orange County, living a life that seems ordinary, sounds ordinary, feels ordinary. The real self, whatever that might mean, exists only in a time and place which you are just starting to remember. As characters grow and live and interact with each other, they embark on a journey to piece together fragments of their half-forgotten dreams. They have to come to terms with who they really are, and what this life means to them.

PREMISE
Nestled in the high hills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Canton Lake hides a secret. This picturesque mountain town has become a haven for the supernatural community, where they can live in peace without fear of what might happen to them out in the real world. It is a small town situated just on the edge of a vast lake. In the winters there is massive snow fall and in the summers there are warm days and breezy nights. The people of Canton are a varied sort. Here Alphas, Betas, and Omegas walk down the street unashamed of their status and the reactions it brings out in others. The doctors are trained to treat them in ways normal doctors aren't. The local college caters to the unique needs of their cycles without question. And everywhere is a sense of community. It is not always harmonious, but the people here are safe.

This is an Adult themed game that will include explicit sexual situations. 18+ required.
