Ad community for RPGs

Hello!! I'm looking for some feedback, interest, and ideas. Who better to ask than the very same people who I will be advertising to in a short while?

Anyone here, who was actively participating in the HP Fandom back in its hayday? Lets say back a good 5-10 years ago. Do you remember how robust and active a community it was? Do you remember the fun times and bad, the wacky and insane? Those players whose portrayals were even iconic to the characters they portrayed? Dont you miss them? The games that pushed the limits of creative world building plots? Do you remember?? I know I do. The ones I liked, disliked or never got the chance to catch a line with.

That being said, not exclusive to older players.

And so that brings me to my point.

I'm looking to start a new game, in the HP fandom. However I am not looking to participate myself. In fact I would personally like to step back, and be a moderator only. Odd choice I know. But to run such a thing as I have envisioned it would require my full attention, and so, that is how it would be. Ideally the players would be the older generation of players. However that is the tricky part isn't it? Who is around, feeling nostalgic and wanting to give it a go? Also, this game would run for a year. Only. No more. It would be as linear and open ended as desired. Believe it, it can be done.

So I have a few questions for you, if you have the time to answer. Please feel free to be as brief or lengthy as you wish.

1. Do you miss the old days of HP RP?
2. What games did you love the most?
3. What draws you to a game?
4. What are your limits?
5. Do you recall any great lines, characters and players you wish you could play with again? Be it regrets, nostalgia or a missed opportunity.
6. Got any fun stories?
