Picture it. America, 2020. Magic has been outlawed for 113 years, and those who can wield it live in fear of being pulled from their homes in the dead of night at gunpoint. It’s a lawless wasteland out there, where neighbors are encouraged to turn on each other, and parents are rewarded for turning in their children to the government, never to be seen again.

But New Haven is different. Nestled into the Rocky Mountains, it is protected both by nature and magic. Here, there is no hunger, no poverty. Everyone has a place and a purpose. Everyone contributes and everyone is happy.

Correction: Everyone except the Villains are happy. Led by the exiled Riordan Walker, they seek to destroy everything the good townspeople of New Haven hold dear. They’re all around the town, serving your coffee, tending your wounds, educating your children--and the scariest part is no one knows who they are. Could you be sharing a meal with one right now?
