HIGH HOPES READ THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST. High Hopes, CA is a slice of life game where you use YOURSELF as a play-by. Radical, right? No celebs, just yourself or no play-by at all or illustrated, no celebs, unless you are or aren't. We have a dream concept, where people will be sharing dreams, among other crazy stuff that will be going on. Inspiration comes from several sources, and I will always credit, I promise. There will be events and side-wide plottage, but we will be considered player driven with a focus on character development, relationships and our own personal stories.

Our game city has a bit of everything from a production area called Figland (Our Version of Hollywood) to a beautiful beach, to mountains and a forest and even a Native American reservation about fifteen miles outside the city. We welcome people of all writing levels, as examples are waived forever and you can show your writing skills through your bio.

We welcome strange and unusual stories as well, that are heart-warming/a bit scary. Different species can be played, but, not too heavy focus on supernatural details. The world at large is accepting of some supernatural species, while some would be frowned on. Basically this game is a safe inclusive community, a safe place for everyone who doesn't get to do their strange ideas or develop things they want to usually. We look forward to having you!

Game opens with 7 players and 7 applications. Plot has been updated to be about facing yourself and playing yourself in a radical setting. This is not about oh no, what if I'm the anti-marty or a unflawed sue! Consider what you do wrong. Don't reveal all your flaws yet, you'll understand why we're doing this in a bit.

I was forced to come back here and post this game. I wanted to post it elsewhere but someone keeps saying oh, give insane a chance. They'll let you play and join your game; EVERYONE WANTS THIS GAME. <-- Everyone keeps telling me that, then they don't join and then they steal my ideas. It pisses me off and drives me nuts.

DO NOT STEAL THIS CONCEPT. I WILL PUNISH YOU IN THE NAME OF LOVE. It will be about a court battle this time. I'm not playing. I'm tired of this and the government is already watching. =/ Don't join based on fear, join because you want to face yourself. We're gonna prove a point about environment and childhood molding us into who we are today. Okay? It's more important and logical than you think. The government wants to use as a testing ground on how to make adoption easier yet harder in some cases, so kids aren't being hurt anymore. Please. A lot of us have been molested and stuff, please help? It's not just about Square, it's about children at the end of the day.
