In 1859 the Earth bore witness to a coronal mass ejection or CME which caused massive magnetic fluctuations in the Earth’s magnetosphere. People as far south as Cuba bore witness to the "northern lights" phenomenon, compasses failed, the telegraph system ceased to work. That was before humans made leaps and bounds into the electronic age. Now over one hundred and fifty years later, we are long overdue for another massive CME. The question that begs to be answered is; Are you ready?

The Flare is an apocalyptic GPSL set in the fictional town of Aurora, Oklahoma that starts from the beginning of the event. Our goal is to provide a realistic setting for players to focus on writing and development of their characters.
