Generation X is a post-Logan X-Men Roleplay. Set in Canada eleven years after the conclusion of Logan, Generation X features an overarching plot directed by the mods. However, the primary focus of the RP is character-driven storytelling and the relationships between the few remaining mutants in the world.

In the spirit of Logan, Generation X is a mature roleplay. Graphic violence and language can be expected. Applicants should be 18+. The fight for survival in the face of species extinction is, sadly, not for the faint of heart.

Generation X features original characters that are based on the genetic material and share the powers of established mutants in the X-Men universe. Space is limited. Check the cast list for available characters.

GAME OPENS APRIL 28 OR WHEN FULL.

a refuge for mutants
When the mutant phenomenon was revealed to the world through live news coverage of a lab explosion, there was hope that there would be change. That those with extraordinary abilities could be themselves without the risk of scorn or capture. There were those that believed the world being aware of what was happening to mutants for decades might stop the government from getting away with their cruel experiments.

That hope turned into building a place that welcomed mutants, even with government aid, in an attempt to improve tension as the months dragged on and the world tried to decide what to do with the knowledge that those with unimaginable powers lived among them. Many joined, taking up positions and establishing themselves. For a time, things went well, but as the new president, Woodrow Rogers, took office human-mutant relations took a turn for the worst. Violence was begetting violence, and it seemed as if no one could agree. The figurehead for this mutant commune, Patrick Blake, tried to use his voice to reason with the public, urging mutants to remain civil so that humans could be more understanding.

This only seemed to put them on the map, and in an attempt to silence them, the government used unmarked agents to raid the commune. All hope was destroyed, as well as the place itself. Everyone that could escape ended up in what was only known as Sanctuary, a place that would become their new home. Heavily guarded by a powerful mutant's illusions, Sanctuary was refuge to all those that needed a place away from the government's eye. Having been scorned himself, the owner welcomed those from all walks of life, so long as they knew how to find the place.

The remaining mutants from the fallen commune were forced to quickly rebuild, trying to restore what they had lost. Not only did they plan to rebuild and grow in number, but they also planned to seek revenge for the hope that had been taken from them.
