Times are changing.


Before time was even recorded there were humans and monsters. They lived side by side without the humans even knowing. Human only knew that the darkness hid the evil but they didn't know what evil there was. Thousands of years later monsters, or Supernatural as they would like be called now, rule the earth. Humans are slaves and given no free will of their own. There are little pockets of resistances but they are slowly dying out.

Tucked away in the quiet Rocky Mountains is Cedar Ridge. It is a medium sized town with shops and restaurants. Like all towns in the United States slavery is legal there, but city ordinances are lax. Humans have more rights here, depending on their master's whim. Some have even taken up jobs in local shops, restaurants, and even police stations. But the death of the Council Head is about to change all that. A new Council Head has been elected and he promises to turn back the clock on human rights. Will she be able to? Or will the people of Cedar Ridge fight back?

[info]enterempire So, this is Jessica Carmichael, a veteran fighter and personal trainer at the resort. She's ruthless and fierce in the ring, warm and friendly outside of it. She's the type to buy the first round after a match, regardless of the outcome. This, along with the ferocity in which she has beaten down her opponents, has ironically earned her the nickname "Lady Jessica". The most ironic part, however, is she is definitely not a lady, those that have been in the bedroom know.

Other fighters for her to associate with, clients that want to go through some very rigorous training, ladies for her pre-match ritual giving her that extra testosterone boost, and all the fans.

The first thing you hear when you wake up is the roar of the waves. Everything seems peaceful until you sit up and look around you.

To the north, you see smoke rising silently from what must have been a nearby town. From the amount of it, it appears that the entire town has burned. And except for the waves, which are hitting the beach as they have for millions of years, there is no sound. It is silent. No birds, no buzzing insects, nothing. There is no sign of life around you.

As you stand, you begin to see other signs that something terrible has happened. The rotting bodies of fish line the beach, as do dead birds. The ocean breeze brings with it the pungent smell of death. There is no way to tell what has happened here, but it is very obviously bad.

Beside you, half buried in the sand, is a small device, similar to a smart phone. When you stood, it started beeping, and when you pick it up, you realize that there is a message waiting for you.

GREETINGS. WE ARE SORRY THAT WE CANNOT MEET YOU HERE IN PERSON, BUT OUR TIME IS RUNNING OUT. WE WERE LUCKY TO SURVIVE THIS LONG...IF YOU CAN CALL IT LUCK. IT HAS BEEN TWO MONTHS SINCE THE BOMBS FELL, DESTROYING EVERYTHING, AND SPREADING MADNESS. THERE IS NO GOVERNMENT. NO INFRASTRUCTURE. NO FOOD. THE CITY YOU SEE BURNING WAS ONCE ST. AUGUSTINE, FLORIDA, AND IF YOU ARE CAREFUL, YOU MIGHT FIND SHELTER THERE. BEWARE, HOWEVER, ANY THAT YOU MIGHT MEET THERE. THOSE WHO SURVIVED THE BOMBS BECAME MADDENED, AND THEY WILL NOT THINK TWICE ABOUT KILLING AND EATING YOU - OR WORSE.

THIS DEVICE CONTAINS A MAP THAT WILL LEAD YOU TO A SMALL SETTLEMENT THAT WE BELIEVE TO BE SAFE, JUST OFF THE BEACH. WE HAVE BROUGHT YOU HERE IN THE HOPE THAT YOU, WHO WERE NOT EXPOSED TO THE BOMB'S BLAST, WILL BE ABLE TO REBUILD THE WORLD AND SAVE WHAT IS LEFT OF HUMANITY.
