WELCOME TO KINGWOOD, CALIFORNIA.


The sleepy, rural town of Kingwood, California may seem like any other small town, but things are not what they appear. For in this little town in Northern California, the people that live their day to day lives, year after year, are not what they seem.

Imbued with the memories of our most beloved characters out of storybooks, the citizens of Kingwood are living, breathing reincarnations of these legends. No one knows why they exist.

In fact, aside from dreams and memories that sometimes spark up, no one is even aware that anything is different about them or their town. However, they are different and it is the town's magic that sparks the character deep within. And with more and more people moving to Kingwood, the lines between real and make believe continue to become more and more...

When an eleven year old nearly destroyed the city of New Waverly, killing a few thousand people in the process, public opinion on super-humans took a drastic turn. They were dangerous. They were a threat. Some even said they had to be taken down.

Given all the things that go bump in the night, it's only fair that Mother Nature devised her own defence against them. This defence comes in the package of a human, usually a female, who is born with enhanced reflexes, speed and strength and ability to sense supernatural beings. No one knows exactly when the first Slayer appeared but for as long as there have been Slayers there has also been the Watcher community. Together they form a cohesive unit which fight back against Vampires, Werewolves and Shifters - all without any recognition from the people they routinely save.

Slayers are the result of nature trying to control and police the supernatural population. Without them the world would be overrun with scary, murderous beings and the human race wouldn't have stand a chance. Their exact origin is unknown but one very popular rumour it that Slayers actually stem from the original line of Vampires - hence their enhanced abilities and 'spidey sense'.

I am looking to bring Star-Lord to [info]newalliance and would LOVE to bring some of his fellow Guardians along with him. Gamora the love interest, Drax the literal warrior, Groot the.. the tree guy/muscle, and Rocket, the gun slinging furry companion. I would also welcome other Guardians from the comics as well!

Though they would of course have adventures in space as a given (the game does not have a real definitive cosmic element yet but we could change that!), my basic premise going in is that Peter returns to Earth in search of clues as to who his father was/if his mother left any evidence behind. And I figured while there the Milano can be found and potentially taken by SHIELD so that they are stranded there for a bit until things settle or.. whatever.
