[info]anthologies - is a, American Horror Story inspired panfandom game. Our first cycle, Welcome to Meadowbrook is now open!
The Meadowbrook Academy campus is located in a picturesque little pocket of Watertown, New York. Founded in 1930, the school was originally a college preparatory school for boys. In the late 60s, they opened their doors to girls, but don't tell that to the folks who haunt the place. It's a running joke at Meadowbrook, one that was thought to have been started by a few upperclassmen looking to give a few girls a scare. It's an old campus. There are creaks and photos tend to fall off the wall from time to time. It's part of the charms of Meadowbrook, right?

No one has given much thought to the stories until last spring. One of Meadowbrook's seniors was found dead in his room at the end of the term. The official report called it a suicide, but there was something a little fishy about it.

There are students around Meadowbrook that seem to be a fixture in the place. No one sees them off campus, and it's as if they've been there forever. It's almost as if most people are oblivious to them. It's like they can choose who sees them.

Leaky Cauldron RPG

[info]leakycauldmod
[info]wanna_rp

It's been almost 15 years since the Battle of Hogwarts, and while all has not been completely peaceful in the Wizarding World, people have gotten on with things. Life. They've forged careers and built families, lived through political reformation after reformation, and the memory of Voldemort's reign has dimmed among the general public. Nothing has been forgotten, but life has a way of moving forward even if people want to live in the past. Those who are smart move with time, and those who are not stay lost in the past.

At the center of it all has always been Diagon Alley, guarded from the mundane world by the Leaky Cauldron. At one point or another, every witch and wizard has walked through the Cauldron, their lives a fleeting impression on the old walls. Secrets and lies, hopes and dreams, lives and deaths--everything has a connection to the Leaky Cauldron. Come on in and have a pint.

Leaky Cauldron is a mainly social game with a focus on threading, set in the present. There will be game-wide plots and challenges to keep the game moving forward, but no long-term "dark" or "political" plot is planned at this time. We want to have fun, and explore what our favorite characters are like as actual responsible adults.

Game starts at 15 characters or 10 players, whichever comes first

GUARDIANS OF SUMER

A panfandom game that welcomes both canon and original characters.

Humans have never been the planet’s apex predator – but in the beginning, they lived peacefully alongside their supernatural brethren. Together with vampires, weres, dragons, and hundreds of other strange but benevolent creatures, they created the first nation of pre-history – Sumer – and raised up its first city: gilded Eridu, the beginning and centre of civilisation.

It was a glory destined to fall. Four hundred years after Eridu was completed, at the summer solstice when the witches and warlocks of the nation performed their rituals for a fertile harvest, all who were granted the gift of foresight were overcome by visions. A dying world in another dimension cried out through time and space to all who could hear, mourning and warning: warning of a world where seas and skies ran thick with poison. Warning of bombs whose blinding light destroyed nations, warning of forests reduced to ash. Warning of thousands of animals made extinct; warning, in short, of the crimes of humanity.

In Edin, the sacred garden of Sumer, the supernaturals gathered to discuss the visions. Humans were their friends, their partners; in some cases, their mates and parents. Some had half-human children. But in the end, they saw only one option.

They declared themselves Guardians, and gave no warning.

They turned on the humans whose descendants, in another world, had destroyed a planet. Centuries of friendship held them back from genocide, but they could not allow the future they’d glimpsed to become reality. In three nights, powers that had raised a city that was a symbol of alliance had been used to capture, subdue and enslave the human race.

Fast forward eight thousand years: the world is not as you know it. Forests cover most of the planet, with smaller, more advanced cities ruled by territorial lords and syndicates. Humans serve, as they have always served, as penance for another dimension’s dead world – but some are free, freedom fighters led by mutants with powers to rival those of the supernatural Primes. Or in territories of their own, held in fragile agreement with Prime governments. But change is coming. Younger supernaturals question the fairness of punishing humans for crimes never actually committed. In congress and parliament, human-rights groups rally to change laws set in place thousands of years ago. Human terrorists attack cities while government bodies send double-agents to the rebel camps.

The wind whispers of war. Which side will you be on?

WANTED: FANTASY WESTERN.

And I don't mean cowboys and aliens demons. I mean cowboys riding dragons and warlocks being run out of town after turning someone's pig blue, native shamans who summon the elements, wargs attacking cattle ranches, and all the wide-open, desolate beauty of the west!

I can do slash or femslash. I do have a plot idea for this, but I'm more about the worldbuilding than anything else in this case, so if you'd rather wing it, or use your own idea, that's cool.

X-posted a couple places, sorry.
