| In March 2012 research scientists with the CDC announced that they had at last, found a cure for HIV. Within six months, the first clinical trials were approved and conducted. There were of course, side effects. In response to this new attack, the virus mutated, changing its genetic code into something far more deadly. Those administered the drug began to drop like flies; the only problem was, they didn’t stay dead. Instead, they rose again, walking corpses, and began to attack the living in droves. Now nearly eighteen months after scientists first announced their cure, the world has fallen. There is no government, no society or life as we knew it. There is only the world of flesh and teeth.
