Magic is sneaking out into the human world...

For thousands of years, supernatural beings have lived among humans, hiding their powers and gathering in secret. Safe havens for them were cold, dark places far from society, locations well hidden and almost unreachable unless the looker already knew where to find them.

Until now.

The year is 2019, and mankind is long overdue for its introduction to the supernatural world that is integrated secretly into their everyday lives. In an old insane asylum set back on a hill in Danvers, Massachusetts, sits the Tiberius J Swann facility, the very first Supernatural Educational Facility and Haven to ever be opened in plain sight. TJS offers students not only a chance to hone and control their abilities, but offers guidance on how to survive in the human world without being discovered. Located an hour from Boston, TJS is the perfect mix of privacy and integration, far enough from the metropolis to keep their secret but not cut off from everything either.

At Tiberius Swann, players won't be bogged down by thousands of rules and limits. We don't think that playing in a game should feel more restricted and limiting than living your actual life. We offer the opportunity to be creative, to come up with your own storylines and go with the flow, to ad lib to your own background and allow your characters to develop naturally and any way you see fit. We are open to dark storylines, slash storylines, happy storylines, dramatic storylines, downright dirty storylines, and anything else you can come up with that makes sense. There isn't a complicated premise to follow, there isn't a hidden agenda. Just people, magic, and mayhem.

The year is 1976 and the world is changing. Lord Voldemort has been slowly gathering followers and rising to power. People are disappearing at alarming rates and there is an overall feeling of uneasiness over wizarding society. With war knocking on their door, the students of Hogwarts are starting to feel the pressure of an adult world they are not quite prepared for. Alliances within the walls of Hogwarts are starting to be drawn and the effects will be everlasting as the students navigate through the year. Even with the outside world breathing down their necks, some things will never change. Quidditch victories will be fought for, teenage romances will be conducted and exams will be taken. Some feel this is their last chance to enjoy their childhood and they’re not letting that slip through their fingers.

[info]salvio is a canon based MWPP game taking place during the 1976-77 school year. We will be focusing on both the larger plot at hand and the everyday lives of Hogwarts’ students as they navigate through the school year.

Boston, Massachusetts—Once the rallying point for those yearning for freedom and an end to oppression. These days Boston plays host to a different kind of downtrodden soul. These people are known as Changelings—humans spirited away by the cruel, twisted creatures known as the True Fae. Don't be deceived—these faeries are the furthest thing from Tinkerbell, and their once prisoners are now on the run from the twisted Wonderland known as Arcadia.

The citizens of the Beacon Freehold are free for now—free to try to fit the tarnished pieces of their humanity back together and to come to terms with what they have experienced. But though they may have temporarily outrun their captors, the fear of the True Fae is never far behind them, and no Changeling can be sure if their freedom will last, or if the man who sells them out won't be their best friend...

Lyonesse is a nation who has fallen, recently, off the brink into the abyss of civil strife and war. Two sides face off against one another––brother against brother––for the person they favor for the crown. In addition to, there are dragons plaguing the people… sweeping across the fields and cities like plagues, only able to be brought down by an elite group of people known as the Dragonborn. Usually above the conquests of lesser men, the Dragonborn are unruled by any mortal… until now. With them on one side, the foe would fall within hours. The fate of an empire rests on your shoulders.
