Master Reaver of Reaver Industries has apparently absconded. We require his presence in the Royal Court, for one reason or another. In addition, the staff at his Bowerstone estate are becoming restless.

His manservant Hatch will soon be relying on other Albion citizens as foo-no, fodd- hang on, er...

Ah. The number of chickens has dwindled. It won't be long before he finds a body in his bedchamber, and no, the reason for that won't be 'the usual'. It can't be, owing to the amount of blood and gristle that'll be coating the rug.

Who'll be left to clean that up?

Beacon Hills: A Teen Wolf RPG

Beacon Hills RPG will pick up immediately after the season 2 finale. We will work on an episodic basis, for 13 "episodes". Each episode will take place over 1-2 weeks in game, and will vary from 2 to 4 weeks RL time. The game will run with an overarching plot (based around a season "bad guy") and smaller, player driven plots to keep character interaction and development up.

Holds will start on JULY 3rd, with first ads being on July 10th, but actual game play won't begin until August 17th. In the interim, there will be a variety of activities designed to keep interest and activity up including, but not limited to, character development exercises, open sandbox play, crack threads and in character memes. The hope is that by opening the holds early, we will have a full cast by the time we're ready to start the game.

Further information on plot will be revealed after the S2 finale, to make sure it follows S2 canon. Some ideas on the table thus far are a rival pack coming to challenge Derek and Scott, misunderstandings with a local coven, or someone with a vendetta against the Hunters causing the Argents to have to team up with Derek and Scott's packs, other supernatural creatures being discovered (vengeful spirits perhaps?), or something completly different. Once there is a firm idea of where S2 will end up, a decision for the plot will be made.

PREMISE

Charles Xavier has always been a man who has looked out for those who were, like himself, different. In a world where 'different' is automatically considered bad, he has tried to do what's best for humans. He has attempted to show them that the highly gifted and evolved individuals he works with aren't as terrible as the world makes them out to be. But despite his best efforts, the treatment towards those who were different never improved and eventually Xavier was forced to take action.

Charles continued to aid the humans in their problems, always having his loyal X-Men around to help those in need and eventually created a school for the highly gifted youngsters that were just learning to wield and control their power. As the years progressed, the school became rather popular and in recent years, Charles has expanded his home to create a place for mutants of all ages. Aside from the school, he founded a town dedicated to everyone gifted, young or old. Although not everyone could attend the institute, they would still be able to learn from those around them.

The town of Xavier opened early last year and it is slowly becoming more popular as the days pass. How will your character fit into this new world dedicated to them and their powers? Will they eventually turn to the darker side of their power? You will just have to come find out!

WOLFIES
Across the nation, werewolves have been wreaking devastation upon one another for years in what has become the largest civil war to ever embroil the werewolf population. A combination of humanity finally reaching its fingers into even the most distant corners of the nation, along with overpopulation of werewolves in certain areas, have led to brutal wars for domination and territory. Not only are the werewolves tearing each other apart, but hunters have been using the opportunity to prey on the species as well, slaughtering hundreds.

But there is one place that has been relatively unscathed by the wars: Colorado Springs. The Colorado pack, its roots going back to the late 1800s, has remained untouched by the discord. Instead, they offer their hunting grounds as a safe haven to all packs who need one. So far, a few packs and many rogues have taken them up on the offer. Can these refugees truly live peacefully in such close quarters? Can the werewolves keep their secret from humanity now that so many are in one place? And how long until hunters move in to take them out?

From the ashes of the Second War, Wizarding Society rises again. Survivors dust themselves off and pick up the pieces, trying to put their lives back together. Families are reunited. Hogwarts students are given a chance to make up for their lost schooling, with an eighth year added on temporarily. The Ministry has put itself back together, with Kingsley Shacklebolt taking the reins.

But all is not well. When one evil falls, others seek to take its place. Not all of the Death Eaters were captured - some fled during the aftermath that followed the Battle of Hogwarts. Hidden around the world, they plot their resurgence, and their revenge.

From the ashes... will darkness or light prevail?

From Ashes is a game that will combine over-arching plot elements that all characters can react to/be involved with, and the flexibility that allows players to come up with character-specific plots. The hope is to have a game that is fun and relaxed, but interesting as well! Players will be given a chance to involve themselves in any plots that come up - as much or as little as works for them. Interaction will be key in this game! From Ashes is canon-compliant, not counting the epilogue - the future is open!
