After several failed attempts to make a "laptop compyuter" run on magic rather than electricity, Committee on Experimental Charms and the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office decided to build from the ground up what would eventually become the prototype version of the tablet. With the tablets, wizards could still write normally as they had been for years, but with added features that were not present on the journal network -- the Internet.

But with any new technology comes a new world of problems. Anyone can post anything they want online and the Daily Prophet and Witch Weekly are finding it hard to compete with these amateur journalists. Anyone and everyone can find a blog via a search engine, making privacy a thing of the past and putting jobs in danger if you've forgotten to ward. The speed and ease of Wiznet has attracted self-starters and hell raisers, professionals and new graduates, to use it for good, for evil, or for anonymous fun without a pesky thing like consequences... right?

PARKER HOME FOR TEENS

PREMISE | HOLDS | TAKEN | RULES | APPLICATION

By all accounts, Parker Home is an average home for teenagers. Located in Texas, it is a co-ed behavior modifying boarding school of sorts. The teenagers, who range in age from 15-19, that roam the grounds are here for one reason and one reason only; they need to be reformed. The teens will go to school on the grounds, will follow schedules and will attempt to turn themselves around but that is where all similarities end with other programs. Disobedience and disrespect will not be tolerated in any form. Once the teens enter onto the grounds, they are expected to be on their best behavior but those teenagers are rare. This is where the extremely qualified staff takes over. Punishments are given out over the slightest infraction. Back talking and eye rolling may be the cause of a punishment if done in front of the right or wrong person. If the actions are minimal, the punishment will be too. Corporal punishment is used in many occasions and is not something that is hidden. The staff genuinely cares for the teenagers and would like to see them as make appropriate changes in their attitudes. That doesn’t mean they will slack off in any of their duties or with the insane punishments that their somewhat sick minds can dream up.

Fae Woods: A Fantasy & Fairytale Game

The fairies of the Fae Woods are some of it's most mysterious and magical creatures. They inhabit the forests of Autumnwood and Springwood, and the caves of Icewood, while their distant Dryad kin live in the forests of Summerwood. Though each of the three fairies is different, they have their similarities as well. Small winged creatures, they all share a love of nature and the realms they inhabit. Fairies are emotional, fickle creatures, some of them shy and others more bold. Regardless of confidence, many of them have little knowledge about humans due to a lack of contact, and have formed all sorts of silly opinions about the other species. With each type of fairy, it is best to placate them with gifts if one wishes to ensure pleasant contact.

Fae Woods is an original concept fantasy game, inspired by several works of fantasy fiction, fairy tales, and other legends. Here, players have the chance to create original characters, or take inspiration from cultural fairy tales and put their own twist on familiar faces. What will your character make of the looming darkness? Will they choose to fight with their realm, or will they be swayed by the temptations of the dark Queen? Step into the realm of Fae Woods, and find out for yourself...
