On 25 April 1998, one week before the battle of Hogwarts, the impossible happens: nineteen-year-old Sirius Black walks into the ravaged and war-torn Leaky Cauldron. He isn't the only one to return, and in the span of seven days, over two dozen witches and wizards from the past appear in all parts of the wizarding world. No one knows why, but a clue lies in who these people are: each played a vital role in the first war. Voldemort is far too preoccupied with winning the war against Harry Potter to pay much attention, but the Order isn't. Some of the returned are friendly to their cause, though others are as bloodthirsty and sadistic as they are in modern times. But while the impossible is happening, the end of the war approaches, and at last the final battle is here. How will the returned affect the battle, and what will happen afterward? We'll see.

Premise
Do you have what it takes to survive in The Triangle?
As long as mankind has been traveling the seas, inexplicable events have occurred. Among the most notorious are random, mysterious disappearances and equipment malfunctions inside a triangular area between Bermuda, Puerto Rico, and the tip of Florida. No one knows what causes these malfunctions, or what happens to people who've disappeared. But you're about to find out. Your trip starts out normally. Calm seas, clear skies, perfect weather, nothing abnormal at all. As your craft enters the Bermuda Triangle, however, you hear an odd humming sound, that grows in intensity. Soon after, you black out, waking up some time later on a cot in a shack, unattended. Upon exploration, you find yourself on a beach, dotted with crude huts, inhabited by others who've been dumped here. No one knows what happened, except that the Curse of the Bermuda Triangle claimed them as a victim. No one is immune. Doctors, lawyers, university students in all fields of study, models, actors, singers... the famous, the infamous, and the unknown. All have been plucked from their lives and left on this mysterious island. If that wasn't enough, odd things happen periodically. Earthquakes shake the ground--and peoples' nerves; mountains form and crumble virtually overnight; violent storms send waves crashing against the coast. And occasionally, people disappear. They don't seem to have died--at least, no body is ever recovered. They simply vanish.
About the Game
The Triangle is a new, multifandom, thread-based, dark, supernatural game on InsaneJournal. There are only a couple restrictions on characters (no cartoon or anime characters); original characters and celebrity characters are welcome. In 2023, the first Wizard University was opened in Ipswich, England. Offering an alternative to traditional internships, the school was a welcome relief to places such as St Mungos and Professional Quidditch Teams, where applicants far exceeded the vacancies. Two years later the school is thriving with ten offered subjects, co-ed fraternities, clubs, night classes, street games, and Quidditch tournaments. Gossip and rumours, pranks, and day-to-day mishaps make college life anything but boring. Just mind the occasional streaker.

WMU is a next generation Harry Potter game set at university. With a focus on character development, good storylines, and both friendships and relationships between characters, we’ve gone back to basics that make role play fun. We encourage good writing, journaling, threading, and our players to simply relax and have fun.

Original Character. Future. Arranged Marriage. 16 & Up.

Almost 20 years ago the world made a last ditch effort to curb the disastrous effects of global warming. This move to protect the world also doomed it to an inevitable end; it has been over 19 years since a child has been born. The world as a whole had resigned itself to this bleak future until now, the year 2051.

It was a group of scientists in Beijing, China who discovered the cure. They called it Hòu Rén (后人) or 'Posterity'. Hòu Rén is a serum, a cure that reverses the sterilization but only in people below the age of forty. In an attempt to not only capitalize on the joyous reaction from the public but to insure that the population will grow in the 'right' direction, the Hòu Rén community has been established. As China was the place where the cure was discovered, it was selected as the place for the first Hòu Rén community.

Scientists have created a database of DNA samples, looking for key genes that will create an 'ideal baby' and the people with these 'perfect' genes are contacted and urged to join the community. It is advertised as being on a strictly voluntary basis with a substantial monetary incentive. People between the ages of 21-39 from all over the world will enter the Hòu Rén community to be paired up with their perfect genetic partner.

The Hòu Rén Community is for the betterment of our world. Who will be your match?

This is not the world as you know it. A few minor changes in history have brought about a vastly different landscape. The United States does not exist, and in its place is a collection of countries, kingdoms, and colonies. Most of them are stable, peaceful places.

One is not.

The Kingdom of Virginia is in turmoil. Civil war threatens to break out at any minute. The nobles are badly divided, rebel groups are rampant, and the economy is on the verge of catastrophic failure. Foreign aid is pouring into the country, both in support of the king's government and of the rebels.

Will King Charles be able to hold onto his throne? Will he lose it to his dissatisfied nobles? Or will be he be toppled by those who claim the cause of justice?

Bewitching: A Harry Potter Next-Gen Game
The second wizarding war ended nearly twenty-five years ago. It is currently 2022, and the children of the next generation are preparing to start their next year of school. Peace is the only thing they've ever known, so their days are simply filled with concerns of balancing grades, relationships, clubs, and Quidditch.

Perhaps, however, the peace has gone on too long. Instead of remembering what their parents fought valiantly to save, the students are starting to bicker amongst themselves. Snide comments are being made, blood status is being brought up in the halls, and bullies are emerging to divide the school into four not-so-equal parts.

Headmaster Fardust has no desire to watch the past repeat itself. This year, students will be receiving a letter enclosed with their supply lists detailing the House Unity Project. Six students from each House will form a committee, headed by the Headmaster himself, to plan and execute events, games, and formal dances in an effort to promote House unity.

Welcome to New Orleans or N’awlins as the locals say. Something here lies hidden that many don’t find so strange -- this party town holds a few secrets that would scare most people. Known for voodoo, hoodoo, and other dark arts this quaint little city has some things up its sleeve. Many things here do go bump in the night. Don't judge a mug by it's whiskers. For years, Wes was a lothario. A pretty common trait for both demons, and satyrs. Lots of sex usually results in bastard children, and he has a few. There is a son he is hoping to have cast at

Eleven years have passed since the Battle of Hogwarts. For most of the magical world, life after the end of the Second War was been relatively peaceful. But even the most optimistic witch or wizard knows that no peace can last forever.

In the adult world, the tentative peace since the end of the Second War was shattered by the Remembering Day attacks. The Wizarding Blood Alliance, seeking to style itself as a Robin Hood-like protector of the magical downtrodden, has declared a shadow war on the Ministry of Magic's Department of Magical Law Enforcement. The brave men and women of the Auror Corps have found themselves under assault, shaken by assassination attempts and threats to their families, as they struggle to balance the safety of those they care about with their duty to the public.

Meanwhile, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry stands on the brink of completing another turbulent school year. Fifth year students rush to study for their OWLs, and the Graduating Class of 2009 is getting ready for an even bigger adventure: the transition into the real world. Many are preparing to enter the Ministry. A handful have set their sights high, hoping to be accepted to the prestigious Auror training program. But other students look to head in the opposite direction: disillusioned with Ministry policies, they have become entangled in the underworld, expressing sympathy for the controversial Wizarding Blood Alliance.

And behind it all, a new breed of werewolf - the Direwolf - prowls the land, transforming during the day and causing panic in the streets. Who's to blame? Some cast a suspicious eye towards the WBA. Others blame normal, law-abiding werewolves, who now suffer under harsh new draconian policies that seek to keep the magical public safe.

One thing is for certain: the past year has seen more strife than any other since the fall of Voldemort. No matter where your allegiances may lie, with the Light or with the Rising Darkness, there is no doubt that the same whispered prayer lingers at the tip of everyone's tongue:

Time and space are ultimate dividing forces that separate generations of witches and wizards, but soon that divide will be breached. There have been cracks before, but one wizard will wrench it open completely. Named the Collector, he sits in his own empty world that he controls and manipulates as he desires. However, there is an issue. It is empty, yet this will not last. No, the Collector shall soon start gathering his toys to fill the gaps. Through various points in human history, he is taking who he wishes. His motivations may be unclear, but somehow each of his toys will serve a purpose for his plans. Once each of these ‘toys’ are collected, they will be confronted by the realities of their situation. Information of their future lives will greet a large majority of his subjects, and then, they must cope. They cannot leave and, will instead, have to adapt. However, adapting is not simple for their situation will not remain constant. The Collector will not just leave his toys alone, but will play with them as he desires. Life in the Collector's Domain will keep transforming. One moment the place will appear like a desert, then a coastal town, and then, a tropical rainforest. However, all the while, the people cannot leave until He demands it. They will experience various trials and tribulations, some that seem almost playful (from the outsider), and others, much more sinister. So, what will you do when the Collector calls on you? As one of his toys, how will you survive? How will you react when you have no information about your situation, except for a small note in a journal that falls from the sky and what you can learn from those who are suffering through the same thing?
