Eleven years have passed since the Battle of Hogwarts. For most of the magical world, life after the end of the Second War was been relatively peaceful. But even the most optimistic witch or wizard knows that no peace can last forever.

In the adult world, the tentative peace since the end of the Second War was shattered by the Remembering Day attacks. The Wizarding Blood Alliance, seeking to style itself as a Robin Hood-like protector of the magical downtrodden, has declared a shadow war on the Ministry of Magic's Department of Magical Law Enforcement. The brave men and women of the Auror Corps have found themselves under assault, shaken by assassination attempts and threats to their families, as they struggle to balance the safety of those they care about with their duty to the public.

Meanwhile, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry stands on the brink of completing another turbulent school year. Fifth year students rush to study for their OWLs, and the Graduating Class of 2009 is getting ready for an even bigger adventure: the transition into the real world. Many are preparing to enter the Ministry. A handful have set their sights high, hoping to be accepted to the prestigious Auror training program. But other students look to head in the opposite direction: disillusioned with Ministry policies, they have become entangled in the underworld, expressing sympathy for the controversial Wizarding Blood Alliance.

And behind it all, a new breed of werewolf - the Direwolf - prowls the land, transforming during the day and causing panic in the streets. Who's to blame? Some cast a suspicious eye towards the WBA. Others blame normal, law-abiding werewolves, who now suffer under harsh new draconian policies that seek to keep the magical public safe.

One thing is for certain: the past year has seen more strife than any other since the fall of Voldemort. No matter where your allegiances may lie, with the Light or with the Rising Darkness, there is no doubt that the same whispered prayer lingers at the tip of everyone's tongue:

Absit Omen is a Harry Potter play-by-post roleplaying game set in 2009. Writers may take up the part of original or canon characters from the Harry Potter series. Myself and a couple of friends are thinking about trying to set up a comm based on a small private RP we’ve been involved in and are wondering if there would be any interest.

It would be set in the Supernatural universe and focus on Lucifer’s return. We’re working on the premise that Nick didn’t die when Lucifer left his body, instead recovering from the months of torment and trying to cope with everything that happened. He’s just about managing it till Lucifer is freed from his cage and decides to revisit him. This time, his dead wife and child are used as leverage to get him to say yes to being used again as Lucifer’s vessel. Lucifer promises that once he claims his rightful vessel (who may or may not be Sam Winchester), Nick will be left alone to rebuild his life with his family.

This is just the very basic outline and though we’ve played this out far beyond the beginning, we’d love to open it up to more writers and see where the story leads. We’re mainly looking for Supernatural characters but would probably consider a handful from other similar shows.

The Vampire Diaries: The Return is primarily a crossover between Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Vampire Diaries, set in present day Sunnydale, California. The focus is on Original Characters in either universe, however, any character (OC or Canon) is accepted from any fandom with a few exceptions.

Like every year, young witches and wizards all over Britain prepare themselves for their return to Hogwarts. This time, however, everything feels different. The year is 1998, and the last time they saw their school a battle was taking place: the great Battle of Hogwarts that saw Voldemort fall and where so many others, family and friends alike, also lost their lives. The wizarding world might be in ruins, but it's nothing compared to the school and to the students that survived. How will the recent events affect them? Will they find absolution for what they did?

Absolution is a post-DH game, starting August 1998. It focuses on the rebuilding of the wizarding world through the eyes of the students of Hogwarts and how they deal with the rebuilding of their school and the memories of what happened the previous year. Muggleborns try to return to the lives they had a year before. The children of Voldemort's supporters try to deal with the new stigma that befell them. Those who fought at the Battle try to cope with what they experienced. And everyone tries to mourn their losses and move forward.

Welcome to Earth-28, a fictional Alternative Earth very similar to New Earth, except that all the Justice League's kids (even those who prematurely died/grew older/don't exist in current canon but do exist in canon!Elseworlds) coexist, are about the same age and are on their journey to become heroes.

With group narrative roleplay, as well, as fun side stories, we explore what it means to be a child, and have super powers.

Characters from the DC Universe are welcome.

It's the new school year at Piffled and the students have a lot more to worry about than just a bunch of mandatory art electives. A student-run campaign, strengthened by the support of prefects, has changed the Hogwarts curriculum forever.

Now a mandatory sexual education course is in place for all students 16 and older.

Sex was previously a banned subject at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry under the assumption that "parents took care of that sort of thing" and the students were "too young to be having it anyway". That's old school now. This school year will go down in Hogwarts history as the year that the school expanded itself as being not only a magical institution with the artistic backbone established by the Ministry since 1998, but also as a place that truly prepares young adults for adulthood in the best way they know how.

If you thought having The Talk with your mum was awkward, try having it with the Headmaster.

Piffled has been open since June 2010 and is still running. Focusing on students from 5th to 7th year and recent Hogwarts graduates, it is about to enter the the 2023-2024 school year. An event oriented game, students are encouraged to participate in as many clubs, school activities, and events as possible. As a reminder, all students are required to take one fine art elective "club" to keep up with Ministry requirements as well as the mandatory weekly sexual education course.

Voldemort was dead and life went on. Students who had spent the last year fighting for their lives suddenly found themselves in a world with limitless possibility, capable of finding new direction and new purpose. There were job interviews to go on and bills to pay. Funerals and first dates. Second dates. Weddings. Children. Twenty-eight years later, a new generation of students will be boarding the Hogwarts Express- the children of war heroes and villains alike. With the Second War safely behind them in their History of Magic textbooks, these students find themselves blessed with the opportunity to live normal lives as normal teenagers, focused on Hogsmeade weekends, school events and N.E.W.T. exams and faced with the choice to either put the past behind them or settle for living in the shadow of their parents. Adolescence is challenging enough, a time of increasing independence and creative exploration. As these teenagers prepare for their last years at Hogwarts, will they step out as individuals -- away from their parents' pasts -- or will lingering prejudices continue to affect social order?

SWOTTING is a next-gen, canon-compliant RPG focused on character development, interpersonal relationships and providing a realistic school experience at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
