In the spring of 1998 the trio are captured in Malfoy Manor where fate would dictate they escape with the assistance of Dobby the House Elf. However, fate did not go according to the plan. In the last second the elf was killed leaving the trio to the mercy of You Know Who. With Potter captured the path was clear to the Ministry and after numerous show trials in July the Death Eaters took over completely. It is a plot that could fit into many games but there is one difference- it is not the Dark Lord that rules but a Dark Lady, there was not a boy who lived but a girl who lived, the greatest Headmaster that lived was actually a Headmistress and it was not mother’s love that made the girl who lived but that of a father.

Enter a world where the outcome of the war has not just been turned on its head, but every character’s gender.

Grave Comfort is a supernaturally themed original character role-playing game set in a fictitious small town known as Comfort, Virginia. Established in 1763, Comfort has a rich history going back to the original colonies of America. In the present day, it is famous for the strange goings-on that happen throughout the town: mysterious lights over the woods, a haunted former prison for the criminally insane, haunted train tracks, the remains of a 19th century cult that ended in mass murder...there was even a cult slasher film series based on the town's supernatural history that has spawned an annual horror film festival. Typical tourist attractions can be found in town too, from tours on the Buckley Plantation or at the Thorpe winery to visits to the Historical Society's Museum or one of the many art galleries in town. Come to Comfort for its attractions, stay to experience its oddities.

The Green Life Community is exactly what it sounds like, a community created in the goal of 'greener' living. The residents come from all walks of life, brought into this community to live a relatively free, cooperative life of health and safety.

To all appearances, Green Life is the perfect place to live; safe, prosperous, and with a pretty much none-existent carbon footprint. But appearances can be deceiving. There is more to Green Life than meets the eye. Something more dangerous and off-balance than anyone could have imagined.

In the coming months, the residents of the Green Life Community are going to find out that rules can go from simple to suffocating and a trusted leader can in reality be a fanatical dictator. That something bright, clean, and perfect in the beginning can turn twisted and dark in the blink of an eye.
