→ about Thus Endeth is a private group storyline that takes place during the fourth season of Angel and the seventh season of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Our goal is to keep this a close-knit game, dwelling on talented and relatively dedicated players. Original characters are more than welcomed to the game - encouraged, even - if they are well developed and have a solid background. We are looking for players who can be invested in the game, and are willing to contribute to the purpose of it: roleplay.  After the near destruction of Hogwarts in the summer of 1998, several changes were decided upon during its reconstruction. Hogwarts had always been a great place for learning, but lacked what some of the other magical schools had: a well-rounded education that focused on more than just magical mastery. With a helping hand from the newly established Ministry, several elective clubs and activities were created and formed to encourage expanded learning. These changes have evolved over the years, slightly changing as professors came and went at the school, but never quite disappearing. In fact, Hogwarts has become very event-oriented and is now hailed as a hands-on teaching school. There is still some harsh criticism from certain media outlets and former Hogwarts students that remember how the school used to be run. In fact, some would call the need to implement art as something required for learning to be quite piffling. Piffled is a game set in the school year 2022-2023, focusing on students from 5th to 7th year. An event oriented game, students are encouraged to participate in as many clubs, school activities, and events as possible. WANTED: POSEIDON, HERA, HESTIA, and MORE Many characters available! The Greek gods were known to meddle in the lives of mortals. They had scandalous affairs, unleashed curses, and orchestrated wars that decimated populations. But what happened before that? Hesiod speaks of the beginnings of the Greek pantheon, the start of the reign of the Olympians. The sons of Cronus drew lots to divide the cosmos, and each established his reign over a third of the world. Zeus had two wives before Hera, and numerous liaisons that were soon over. What happened to Metis? And Themis? What of Mnemosyne, and Eurynome, and Demeter? What led Poseidon to take the Sea Goddess Amphitrite to wife? And how did Persephone catch Hades' eye? Well, we are about to find out... |

 premise | faq | rules | cast | application  The class of ’78 has moved into the flats that will be their homes for the next year. August brings the first day of these graduates’ internships.  These questions and more are reeling around their minds as they await their first days of work. However, the most important question of all is absent:  The results of Lord Voldemort’s presence can be felt everywhere, from the mysterious seclusion of some classmates post-graduation, to the slew of fervent elopements that erupted in its wake. Outside the secure walls of Hogwarts, the disappearances of Daily Prophet reporters, inexplicable deaths of Ministry of Magic employees, and the growing St. Mungo’s psych ward are becoming a bit more real. The class of ’78 doesn’t live in a safe haven anymore. Meals aren’t served promptly, laundry isn’t folded and returned to wardrobes, and no one is checking to see if everyone gets home safely. This is the first time that most of these graduates will live on their own, and they couldn’t be more vulnerable. Not all of Lord Voldemort’s newly-devoted followers have cut off contact from their old friends. Some have been assigned a more important mission: infiltration. |

| The world was normal at one point, but for some reason things have changed. Things began happening that are not so normal. People began developing special abilities, and not only that, but portals from some other places began appearing and randomly spewing out people. Some people are normal and just not in their element, some look different... not human. Some others have special gifts as well. | ||||||||||
