Pennyweather is a picturesque and historically significant little town on the coast of Massachussets, rather precisely like every little town in the state. This charming hamlet near the New Hampshire border isn't quite big enough to be a tourist destination, but with a small harbor, beaches, and small wildlife santuary, it's a great day trip for picnicking and just wandering. The historical society runs two museums, one on art and culture, one about the region's various happenings from prehistory onward. The general standard of living is high, and the population overall tends toward college-educated Caucasian Democrats with lots of dogs and few children. That's not to say Pennyweather doesn't have its seedy neighborhoods, its chain stores and run-down apartments, but they're pretty well hidden by town planning and a general agreement by all concerned. It also hosts more magic per resident than any other town east of the Mississippi, but that portion of the census is in the bottom of a very nondescript filing cabinet, and the key disappeared under mysterious circumstances when the whack job who owns the occult store and his wife or sister or whoever that woman is came in to deliver a petition against the closing of one of many local graveyards, bearing the signatures of every resident of their neighborhood, alive or dead in the past fifty years. That's really just par for the course in Pennyweather, and many residents who've never even attempted magic are quietly aware that there's something special about their little town. I am looking for someone to play AJ McLean's fiancee (Rochelle Karidis) in a community. I'm guessing she'll be listed as a celebrity since she's a model, but played like a PB since models tend to be elusive. I've written with this group for 7 years, but have only written AJ for almost a year. We will do the scenes mainly through AIM, but there is a threading community and private posts are always welcome.

My AJ has acknowledged the engagement, but hasn't really done more than that with it. I would love to have someone there to play it out, however it might go. Mine has had a couple of flings with some women in the group, but so obviously his fiancee coming to live there would make things interesting, and not just drama for drama's sake. I was thinking that maybe they weren't really sure if they were going to go through with it, but are willing to try to make it work?

If anyone's interested, please drop me a line and we can work out the details and if she will know the other guys' wives or if this will be an introduction to them. (My group is slightly AU--but not--which I can explain to those interested). I have plenty more to fill in and would love just to have my guy more active.

It started with The Cure: a drug designed to inhibit and reverse the effects of an active x-gene. While some saw it as an option for those less fortunate mutants who’s x-gene simply left them physically disfigured, or those with powers that made every day life difficult, others saw it as a weapon. Eventually, The Cure failed. But not before those who’d been offended by it’s very existence were ready to strike back.

Four years later, The Cure-All was a sort of response to The Cure. It was made for all humans who no longer wanted to be weak, those who wanted to be part of the next evolutionary step of humanity. Like The Cure, at first, it worked perfectly. But only at first.

Three months after the first human had undergone the change to homo-superior, the powers and mutations seemed to fade. What was left in place of the homo-superior, however, wasn’t quite human. Still alive, they were reduced to one basic instinct: the need to feed. Their choice of meal? Human and homo-superior flesh.

Those who survived learned that staying on the move meant staying alive. If they stopped anywhere too long, the infected would come. Only a few at first, but then more and more until their numbers were impossible to fight off. In the end it became a matter of fight together or die alone, and surviving was all anyone could hope for.

I'm looking for a Jon Walker against my Spencer Smith for celeb mpreg line. I'd like to start when they first met (around Truckstops and Statelines) and we'll see where the line takes us. Just because we start out cannon doesn't mean we have to end that way! As long as you know the basis of Jon's personality (which is still completely up to interpretation and we can definitely talk about) I'll be happy. I'd like to plot out over AIM but have this be a threading line considering I don't get to AIM enough. But if you can only use AIM, I'm sure we can work around it. Please enjoy writing and really want to explore a character realistically. I'm hoping for this to be a balanced line with actual conversation as well as smut and drama. Feel free to comment here or in my journal for more information!

Humans who were so much as scratched or bitten changed into these infected creatures within days. Homo-superior were highly resistant to the disease, yet blood transfer was fatal. Not to mention, the infected outnumbered homo-superior a thousand to one. Numbers dropped significantly, especially for those who remained in the large cities, as they simply became overwhelmed by the infected. Within six months, it had spread throughout the world and infected all but a handful of the human population (who were tucked away underground) and killed around a quarter of the mutant population.
