X-Project is an X-Men movieverse RPG on Livejournal. Set after X2, we've been running since May 2003 and use a combination of in-character journals and email/IM logs. Be it classic superhero adventures, high school drama, dark and gritty spy games or interpersonal relationships, X-Project caters to everyone.
X-Project is currently focusing our advertising towards filling some of our unplayed characters and available NPCs. We will still look at applications for new characters, but our preference is for applications for socks. To help give you an idea of each character's history, we have a series of "cards" for each available character/NPC.
We also highly encourage readers - if you're looking for X-Men based entertainment, X-Project welcomes you to read along and enjoy the ride!

 Astoria, Oregon Population 2,213. It is the number one cloudiest city in the United States. The city has a total area of 10.6 square mile radius. It's coastline borders the ocean. It has beaches, boardwalks, ports and at one point in history was one of the most popular spots for people who made their living off of fishing and whaling. The town is surrounded by vast amounts of trees, competing with towns in Washington and California as the logging capital of the country. Hunting is also a popular passtime, since there are many rivers that run through Astoria's dense forests. At first glance, this town seems like you're average no-wheres-ville, but if you look closer you'll find it has many secrets and legends. The most popular of these legends is a Native American tribe that supposedly can take form of the wolf and an opposing clan of "cold ones" forbidden to hunt and live on their land. This game revolves around this Native American legend, Astoria's high school students, college students, and their families. |

Battles were fought valiantly, lives were lost. And the wizarding world lost their saviour when Lord Voldemort used the Imperius curse on Harry to gain control and then erased his memories, taking the Boy-Who-Lived and making him his pupil. Ten years later, the world lays in ruin. Muggles are scarce in number, and most wizards and witches hide in fear. With no options left, Minerva McGonagall once again summoned up The Order of the Phoenix. Albus Dumbledore had given her one last mission, if all hope was lost. A spell cast by Dumbledore before his own untimely death is set in motion, to bring those back who had lost their lives fighting for good. But little do they know, Voldemort has a similar plan, to resurrect those loyal to him and take over the world, once and for all. | |

The Lestranges & Carrows have children. The Gaunts and Blacks have living, and resurrected, blood relatives. Things are starting to happen again. Parents find their children going to classes with children of the children of those families. Is the next generation like their parents? Or will the oldest families learn to change with the times?
