Avatar Aang not only brought balance and order to the world when he stopped the Phoenix King, but he and his former rival, Fire Lord Zuko, took great strides toward ensuring that the mistakes of past generations would never again occur. Zuko made the Fire Nation Capital City of Awatan Sathit the center of the world, encouraging large numbers of people from the three nations to settle within its walls. One hundred and fifty years have passed since Avatar Aang's epic battle with the Phoenix King, and all seems right with the world to most. The White Lotus Society has begun to notice stirrings in the world. Tensions between the three nations over the possession of the former Air Nomad territories are beginning to mount, a new style of bending is emerging, and the Avatar has not yet finished her training.

IT WAS a nice spring day in April when an owl came fluttering through an open window and into the home of Harry and Ginny Potter. The message was of a confusing nature, announcing an alumni celebration for Harry's graduating class. Their presence was requested back at Hogwarts, saying they were to be accompanied by the surviving staff from their year. Intrigued, Ginny quickly sent an owl to Hermione, cementing her suspicions that it wasn't just a rouse to get Harry out in the open. It seems as though there were invitations going out to everyone in their class. After much convincing, Harry finally caved and agreed to attend the celebration with his wife.

On the night of the ball, everyone arrived at Hogwarts with high expectations. Getting to reconnect with old friends and Ron Weasley was even enjoying the thought of getting in a good tussle with Draco Malfoy now that he could swing a good punch or two. The Great Hall was decorated for a beautiful occasion, and all the girls who arrived were in awe. They mingled for a while, thinking it odd that none of the staff were there before them. It was only once the former faculty arrived, looking rather lost and confused, themselves that confusion and worry began to arise. However, they weren't left much time to panic. The minute Minerva McGonagall set foot in the room, being the last of the staff to arrive, the doors slammed shut, locking them all inside. With a large whirl, they were drawn from the time, itself.

Landing in a grimy street seconds later, many of the former students wretched on the pavement after the violent travel. Looking around, they found themselves face-to-face with an unfamiliar world. What stood before them, looming like a lion about to feast, stood Britain. It was in ruins. There were scarce buildings to be seen and most of the streets seemed to be doused in blood. Scared and suddenly alone, the group trudged on to see what horror awaited them.

The Other Side is an alternate universe Harry Potter post DH game. Stranded in an unfamiliar world, they come to the realization that there has never been a Lord Voldemort, here. He is more commonly known in this world as just plain old Tom Riddle, right hand man to she-who-must-not-be-named: Bellatrix Lestrange. The world has been run down since in her hands, and now they are stuck living amongst the miserable people already living under her rule. However, interests peak when they realize that they are accompanied by the Class of '78, including most of their parents. The only problem is, they're just as lost and confused as the rest of them. And, with Bellatrix's henchmen hunting them down and tagging them like animals, what are they supposed to do to get home? Some "Guests", as they name them, choose to try and join her army to save their own tails, whilst others try and plan a means in which to attack. Their theory: they did it once, they can do it again! But will it be successful? With Guests and other civilians dying left and right, they have to make a decision, and quick.

While St. Mungo's remains neutral and Gringotts Bank has taken a violently oppositional stance, the remaining wizarding institutions, including Hogwarts, have no choice but to go along with the Dark Lord's demands. While the Death Eaters have been running the country, slowly but surely destroying all that was good about wizarding society, Voldemort has been examining the veil. It didn't take long before he found a way out. Thus he entered through the veil to explore the realm of the dead. But what he didn't count on was that as he entered, someone was released. Looking exactly as they did the day they died, that soul, who was in stasis at the happiest time of their life, has no knowledge of current affairs or their life after that happiest moment. But they're back, and the only way out for them is to die again. But they don't remember death - they only remember life. Appearing in a discrete alleyway in the heart of Diagon Alley, they are lost, confused, and have no idea what to do. But soon after the first of the undead was discovered, those loyal to the Order have been carefully watching, making sure those who return are properly cared for and given the latest in wizarding communication: the journals. If they have family still alive, they are put in touch with them, and they do their best to readjust to life in 1997. But the question remains: what is Voldemort looking for beyond the veil? What is it that he thinks holds the key to immortality? Only time will tell, and if Voldemort discovers it before Harry Potter destroys the remaining Horcruxes, then the wizarding world will forever be subject to the Dark Lord's rule.

Life in Prison Never Sounded So Merciful.

Imagine, you're a young man just sentenced to spend the rest of his natural born days in prison in Ohio. Sitting in the back of a squad car when you turn a corner and the guard you're traveling with tell you that right there, is your new home. For 155,000 or so men, that look out the window at the fortress drawing nearer, was your last glimpse of freedom for a very, very long time. For a large group of these men, it was the last sight of freedom they would ever have again, and the beginning of a stay in a sinister place that would outlast your own body.

But none of that is included in the brochures.
Now there are many people coming in to the Ohio State Reformatory again, this time to take tours and imagine the terrible life that so many young and old men faced inside of those walls. Mansfield's old reformatory has been closed for twenty years, now, to taking in new inmates. But the small group of dedicated individuals who love the building and it's history have all found that some of the inmates never left the building. For a while the souls of the prisoners have coexisted with the individuals preserving their eternal resting place, but some of them are starting to stir. They used to make themselves known to the tours who wanted to find them and now they're disrupting the general building tours, and the restoration that the group is working so hard to complete.

There will be love and loss yet, and there will be a point when the living will have to face the dead straight on. Will they stand firm on their investment, or will that which cannot be killed claim victory? Is love and dedication enough to overcome years of torment, grief and hardship? Join us, and you may be lucky enough to find out.

In May 1945, Albus Dumbledore defeated Grindewald, the evilest and darkest wizard to date. One month later, Tom Riddle, the charismatic Head Boy of Hogwarts, left the castle for the last time.

Years later, the unthinkable happened. Tom Riddle, at the age of 40, became the youngest Minister for Magic ever. This young, attractive man with such an urbane nature invigorated the masses, and his induction into office brought upon the "Golden Age" of wizarding Britain. Or so the public thought.

Over the years, while Tom Riddle was ascending the ranks of the Ministry, he was also gathering his followers, followers who referred to him as Lord Voldemort and themselves Death Eaters, who were in awe of his patience and fortitude, and his plans for Britain. He would rule the wizarding world with an iron fist, purifying the race of wizards and expelling those who did not belong among the elite. But he knew in order to do so without attracting the attention of his critics, he would have to do it slyly. Slowly. And so he waited. Worked.

Death Eaters and Death Eater Supporters were slowly integrated into the Ministry. Lord Voldemort's closest followers were appointed to important positions throughout the Ministry. Supporters began to take spots that opened up in the Wizengamot. The public remained unaware, unskeptical of the people Tom Riddle appointed; to them, he could do no wrong. Things had been great for the wizarding world, and everyone attributed this fact to Minister Riddle.

In secret, Lord Voldemort and his Inner Circle were working on a secret project to rid the world of muggleborns. Not even his Outer Circle of Death Eaters knew about this secret project, and in 1980, when Tom Riddle followers took over 50% of the Wizengamot and therefore had the legal power to protect the Minister and his followers, he decided it was time to put his plans into action.

In August 1980, muggleborns began disappearing. Muggleborns that had done extremely well in school, or were highly respected, or held important places within the Ministry. However, it wasn't until the 31st of August when the Media and the people of Britain took notice - when four people went missing from their homes in a very unique way. Wizards in dark robes and masks broke into their homes and catching the occupants of each home unawares, kidnapped the muggleborns and disappeared into the night.

Causa Mortis is an AU MWPP game based in 1980. The question is how different would the world be if Tom Riddle took the political reins before he ever began his reign of terror on the wizarding world. There's no prophecy, no Order (yet!), and no way to tell what's going to happen. Game opens September 1 - so get your applications in early! Wanted!! Haven't pimped in a while

Waking Pandora is a combination RP game that mixes the 'what if' of the History Channel show Life After People with the Harry Potter universe in a unique way.

In the Year 2000, a group of Muggles became aware of the Wizarding community and felt they were a threat to humanity. They worked in secret to create a deadly virus that would target anyone with magical blood but it backfired. The virus began spreading indiscriminately – Muggles and Magicals began dying in vast numbers from the disease whose only outward sign is the appearance of red spots on the victim's body. Within 48 hours, anyone infected died of a cerebral brain hemorrhage.

When the consequences became apparent, both sides rushed to isolate the virus but it was too late. Mass transport carried the virus to the corners of the planet slowly but surely as infected fled under the cover of darkness, only to spread the disease further. The first of the stasis chambers was readied two weeks after the first outbreak, Muggles working feverishly to set up solar-powered cryogenic rooms and the Wizarding world did the same – using spells engendered to last over long periods of time.

Neither side was hostile in their agreements to leave means for the human race to survive, both sides choosing small numbers of young, strong, genetically diverse and a minor handful of older, more knowledgeable members of their societies in every country. The hope that most of these chambers might hold out against the tide of decay was the push that drove the scientists and wizards to the very end.

One hundred years after the chambers were sealed, the first opens, then another and another. One alcove of wizards and witches are waking inside the tomb of the Hogwarts castle, in the former Room of Requirement, to find the world has returned to the beasts, the castle is a veritable jungle and the world they knew no longer exists. Equipped with only rudimentary survival gear, they must find a way to not only survive but contact the other stasis chambers in a bid to restart humanity.

[THE NAMELESS CITY]

Welcome to the Nameless city, the cornerstone of the universe where all manner people of meet, live, love, laugh, cry and die. It is a modern city, similar to any seen in the 21st century with skyscrapers, metro systems, companies, homes, schools, and most important of all, people.

[EXPLANATION]

Nameless city is a panfandom rpg set in a fictional city called Nameless. As stated above, it is the corner stone of the universe. Literally, it exists in every fandom universe and connects them all together. If your character is from is from futuristic world, Nameless might be considered a quaint old fashioned city; if your character is from the past then Nameless would be consider a great advanced metropolis; and if they’re from the present, it’s just like any other city with a bunch of freaks in it.

But how did your character come to this city? That depends on whether they’re alive or dead in their home universe. If they’re alive, they chose to come here for a reason, a reason that is up to you. Did they just want to get away from their old world? Did they need to start again? Did they get a new job? Or did they just feel like a change of scenery? It’s up to you.

Now, if the character is dead that’s a different matter. They arrived in Nameless shortly after they died and woke up in an apartment building nicknamed the Crypt. How they came to be there and who is responsible is a mystery. The only thing these characters have been told is that they’ve been given a second chance and that the next time they die, they stay dead.

Now we all heard of Joss Whedon's greatest materpiece since Buffy The Vampire Slayer. You may have heard of it. The western space television show knows as Firefly. Well, this would be the group storyline built off of that show. We have only one specific goal in mind, and that is to recreate that infectious spark the show had. To relive the tales of "big damn heroes" one thread at a time. Spins Madly will be revolving around a group of talented players. So, we advise anyone looking to sign up to keep that in mind. We want things to be neat, creative, and fun! That is out mission and hopefully we will suceed. Original characters will be accepted and loved here. However, we want creative characters that fit somewhere in the arc. Variety is also great and loved, too. Not everyone can be a bad ass rebel like our friendly neighbourhood Malcom Reynolds. But that doesn't make them any less unwanted. We are fairly open-minded, and hope you will be, too. Be sure to review the premise, rules, and faqs page before considering applying.

Belais has become an unofficial capital city for the non-human and drawn large numbers of various species to the city. The Secret Police work behind the scenes in an attempt to keep humankind ignorant of the various beings they share their city with, but with limited success. Yet To Be Saved RPG In the south of California there’s a city that apparently had been forgotten by God. It is Venial City. Just to begin with, the city has never had priests, simply because they don’t have any church. Every time someone wants to marry or someone is born, they travel to La Sagrada, a pretty empty and very religious city next to Venial, to receive blessings or perform ceremonies. God decides the city has been forgotten for way too long and decides to remedy things by sending two of his angels to take care of the population there: Harachel and Machidiel. The problem is the two demons that have been living in the city for years, Typhon and Haborym. Their attempts to bring out the evil in people are working just fine and the angels find themselves responsible for cleaning up the mess the devils have wrought in the lives of the people. What can the angels do? They find people who are about to die and give them another opportunity to live: they’ll have their second chances and they will live after all, but they’ll be protecting someone else as guardians. Of course, this is a kept secret from the person being protected. No one wants to know that the angels have given up on them, even for a bigger picture; they wouldn't like to think that they were being watched over by another human being, flawed and imperfect as they were. the angels have been busy and i'm yet to be saved. The game starts with 15 characters.

		Original Character. Arranged Marriage. 17 & up. In 2010 global warming began to wreak havoc on earth and its inhabitants, becoming more and more dangerous with every year that passed. Natural disasters became so frequent and so severe that entire cities were leveled and countless lives were lost. To combat the devastation, in 2020 the scientists of the world joined forces to create a solution that ultimately began the slow demise of the entire human race. By 2028 birth rates have dropped to basically nothing. For almost twenty years no children have been born on earth but in 2048 a solution was found and a new law put into place. Every healthy, non-married person between the ages of nineteen and thirty are to be married, whether by choice or by Government selection. The couple will have a one year period at the most after their marriage to conceive. schoolday is an RPG focusing on the lives of faculty members at Ginger Ridge Grammar School, located in suburban New Jersey. The school is public and serves students in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. It employs 52 faculty members, including 4 teachers for each grade level, and teachers for special subjects such as Art, Music, Spanish, French, Health, and Special Education. In addition, each faculty member supervises at least one after school or extracurricular activity, and is required to attend parent-teacher conferences, faculty inservice classes, and occasional after-school events.

During the 2006-2007 school year, there was a devastating fire at GRGS that resulted in the need for a new building. Since early 2007, students have been attending schools in other area buildings while reconstruction of the school building was delayed repeatedly by politics, construction difficulties, and other problems. Construction was finally completed in Summer 2009, and the school will open its doors to students for the first time since the fire in September 2009.

We are now accepting holds. The game will officially open on Sunday, August 23rd to give the members a chance to get into character before the school year officially starts on Monday, September 2nd. Accepted members will be added to the OOC community on a daily basis from now until opening in order to begin to establish connections.

Batman: Rogues' Gallery is a Nolan-verse RPG centered around the origins of Batman's greatest nemeses and focusing on Gotham's descent into crime, anarchy and madness. The story begins with the Joker's incarceration at Arkham Asylum following an elaborate plot against Gotham City. While inspired by Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, the plot of this game deviates from the movie on a few key points (please see the premise and character list for more details).

	A Post-DH Hogwarts Based Game On September 1st Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has reopened, only this time with an extra bundle of students. The old class of '98 have been invited back to resit their year with the current NEWTS class. Room is made for them in their former houses and tensions are lifted from Hogwarts for the first time in a long time. Meanwhile, in Europe, Wizarding communities are being crippled by a virus that slowly destroys the ability to perform magic. Emergency procedures are put in place to try and stop it reaching Great Britain but it becomes clear that it has not been successful. A teacher and student are confirmed to have the virus and the Ministry immediately quarantines Hogwarts, placing a ward around the castle and its grounds to stop the virus spreading further. One by one students find themselves losing their ability to perform ever the simplest of spells. But even as they struggle to try and discover a cure, darker forces are beginning to close in on the school... What would you do if you lost your magic? Open early due to popular demand! The mutant gene popped up unexpectedly in 1999 though some would argue it began in 2000. For a while, maybe a year or so this had gone unnoticed but it was only for so long that something so spectacular could go unnoticed. It was in Wisconsin a boy by the name of Sammy Johnson had been spotted flying above his house by one of his neighbors. Immediately the neighbor had done the most logical thing she could do, inform the police. The police investigated, but the boy (and his parents) could not prove anything about this supposed ability of flight. Then, not even a week later a girl was caught turning invisible, another girl was creating acidic poisons with her hands and a newly wed couple was controlling and creating fire. Naturally, the Government had to get involved.

They'd gone to these homes and these families to question them about their abilities, and after much deliberating and time the first mutant hospital was created in 2002. Immediately these people were shipped away to the hospital for testing. The term "mutant" had been coined and was quickly applied to anybody who possessed powers. With the knowledge of these mutants out, the human race was now growing to understand the real term of fear. What were these mutants capable of, what were they going to do to the regular humans that didn't possess these powers? continue
