August, 1978. Voldemort is nearly at his full power and if things keep going his way, he will soon have full control. After spending months fighting the Imperius Curse from Lord Voldemort, Minister of Magic, Millicent Bagnold, has completely broken from the Dark Lord’s control, a result of weeks of deception on her part. Aurors nearly caught Voldemort, but three Aurors were killed in the process and now the weakening Department of Magical Law Enforcement is getting desperate for more man-power. Professor McGonagall’s daughter has been rescued and has been able to identify her captor; Bellatrix Lestrange. Even with his top follower on the run and his failings with the Minister, Voldemort has something else on his side; the Horcruxes. Having successfully created two, both in safe keeping, he searches for his mother’s locket and the cup of Hufflepuff, to create even more. Greyback is turning werewolves secretly and plans to break into the Ministry of Magic, when he’s not stalking Remus Lupin’s fiancée, Dorcas Meadowes. When he finds the Aurors assigned to hunt him down, what will be their fates? Alice Longbottom’s father, responsible for the death of her daughter, has been murdered by Bellatrix Lestrange, but the Ministry only has their eyes set on the Longbottoms and Dumbledore for the culprits. Lucius Malfoy has proposed a business marriage with Narcissa Black and the two powerful families are about to merge, Hogwarts has a new Defense Against the Dark Arts profess; Death Eater, Matthew Johnson, and the new Auror trainees will soon embark on a journey that will potentially lead them all to their deaths. The leading vampire rights activist has been murdered and vampires are ready to expose everyone to the Muggles if the killer isn’t caught and if their demands aren’t met. The Muggle War is affecting Wizards left and right, from soldiers to suicide bombers in London. Harry Potter is still living a reclusive life, still dealing with PTSD from the war. And the Head of the Magical Law Enforcement unit has just been murdered along with the Minister of Magic’s assistant… Someone is hell-bent on killing every single person of importance in the Ministry of Magic. On a non-violent front, Katie Bell is making enemies left and right since dramatically changing the way The Daily Prophet does it stuff, along with raising suspicions with gossip columnists at Witch Weekly, who want nothing but to make everyone out to be someone that they’re not. Minerva McGonagall has just revealed a secret that she’s been keeping for over thirty years. Molly Weasley is meddling into everyone’s lives, as usual. Things are just beginning to get interesting.  Judaism and Christianity know her as Lilith, Adam's first wife who left Eden and lay with Asmodeus by the Red Sea where she gave birth to the demons and monsters of the world. When she was beckoned back to Eden by three angels, she refused, and as punishment, she was turned into a demon herself and the angels began to slay one hundred of her children every day she did not return. In her anguish, she proclaimed that she would destroy the sons of Adam, even their mothers in labor, and birth more demonic children to replace those she would lose, for even this fate was preferable to being enslaved by one she knew in her heart should be her equal. Most of her children, the Lilim, aren't aware of who they are exactly, or that she even exists, yet they still often execute her vengeance successfully. They warred with the Sons of Adam in the open for millennia, until their number decreased so drastically that the Lilim had to make the humans believe they had hunted them to extinction so the truth about their existence would fall into myth and legend. In 2022, the elders of the Vampire species reveal the truth about their existence to humans, and they claim to seek peace with the leaders of Man. They say they wish to ease fears as they openly integrate with human society as fact, not fiction, something they have not attempted in centuries. However, acceptance into the United Nations is the least of their problems; after all, there is dissent among the Vampire people themselves. Some fight for equality, while others fight for superiority. The crime rate among vampire society has skyrocketed almost overnight. The number of active hunters has doubled as well. And amidst the trials humanity and vampires face together as they struggle to see each other with unprejudiced eyes, rulers of other supernatural races begin to fear that they too will soon be exposed because of the parts their peoples have played in Vampire history. It is a time of great political and social change. Everyone’s future hinges on this era.

When the bombs dropped in early 2008, it was expected that the virus would be eradicated. After all, nothing could survive the devastation of nuclear power. Nothing could possibly crawl up from the wreckage of a twisted land. That was how the United Nations justified their choice to Quarantine and abandon the United States of America – Canada and Mexico closed their borders, and the bomb was dropped. The virus burned hard under the nuclear autumn that followed, but it did not die. Nothing could stop the creatures that came out of the wasted hole of the Midwest – the Infected lived to hunt. Nothing could stop them. Or so it seemed to the rest of the world. Seemingly abandoned by the rest of the world, the few who had sustained the blast began to band together. They found a common goal: Survive. Live, but not at any cost. To carry on with humanity intact, that was the only possible hope for the future of the Remaining States of America. Brought together under a vivacious leader, people crossed the country at great peril to come to New York, to live in the Salisbury Hotel. Safety was found in numbers, after all. And for a time, they lived in peace. Those who knew to fight, trained others. Those who could gather and hunt, they shared their skills. Gardens grew. The Infection was kept at bay. Hope for a cure began to whisper its way through the Compound. Caravans appeared on their last legs, praying for safe haven. But the seemingly idyllic landscape was bound to erupt again. |

The Wizarding World has seen its fair share of suffering, such as the reign of Lord Voldemort that occurred not once, but twice. But, as it was foreseen, good triumphed over evil and the world gained peace. It seemed to be everlasting for witches and wizards everywhere, a great relief to those who feared the worst in the midst of rebuilding. Twenty-five years later, someone now threatens to destroy the peace that has come to be, though not in such a way that would strike fear in the general public. It's much worse: Hogwarts has a new Headmaster and the students aren't going to like him. Tiberius Ogden was just appointed the position of Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during the summer, the former Headmaster, Matthew Harrison, having abruptly retired when he suddenly came upon a very large sum of money. The Ogden name is famous for its liquor, though Tiberius has no interest in making drunks out of his peers. No, Tiberius Ogden followed another path, one of strict behavior that came with wielding a firm hand rather than a tap. A retired Hit Wizard, Tiberius has known a life of hardship and determination and believes that today's youth are becoming weak-minded prats. As a way to change this, he quickly took up the position Headmaster Harrison wished to discard. Students will be in for quite the shock when they return to school to have their yearly start of term feast. Not only are they receiving a new Headmaster, but he comes with a whole new set of rules - rules so numerous in count that a book of them was created - something each student will find at their seat. Will your student follow the rules or say Bugger All! to them? |
