An Original Persona RPG First victim discovered! Some say if you turn a door handle the wrong way on the hour on a sunny day it will lead to Paradise. After witnessing a death at their school where a missing pupil was found at his desk, characters begin investigating these rumours. They later realize that they can walk through doorways as a gateway to enter a seemingly utopian world infested with Shadows. Thus begins a mission to discover the links between the vanishings and deaths around town.

In spite of the increasing danger, a small group of vigilante Wizards have begun a rebellion, daring to do what the Ministry fears to do; fight. The Order of the Phoenix is slowly growing into a force to be reckoned with, threatening not only Voldemort, but the Ministry itself. Change is on the brink for the students of Hogwarts. No longer will they be safe behind the confines of the castle, unaware to the real dangers of the world. They will soon be forced to make their own loyalties known; a decision that will affect not only the rest of their lives, but the entire Wizarding World. Amongst the darkness, these students are potentially the light needed to give the Order the man power to take on Voldemort’s forces. As both sides fight to gain support, one question lies: which side do you choose?

Harry Potter with an American twist. Over 1,000 years ago, schools for witches and wizards were founded in European countries to instruct students in magic. Hundreds of years later, late to the party as usual, American witches and wizards started their own school, after the disaster that was the Salem Witch Trials. Since then, Salem Academy has flourished as well as its European cousin schools. As times grew modern, American witches and wizards became immersed in Muggle culture. Now in the 21st century, Salem Academy seems like any other high school. There's just one difference. These kids know magic.

Nearly two years after the war, and witches and wizards everywhere are still having trouble putting their lives back together. Missing friends, dead family, strained relationships, and social inadequacies are causing mixed feelings everywhere. What should have been a perfect time is now, to put it best, awkward. There are so many people who don't quite know what to do with themselves now that the world isn't in grave peril. PREMISE
You wake up to the smell of smoke. In the year 2008, a virus swept North America. Ever vigilant for a pandemic, citizens boarded up their windows, stockpiled their canned goods, and turned their neighbors in to the CDC. Short wave radios fell off the shelves, evacuation routes were prepared. Gas masks and specialty filtration systems were distributed. Pills were available for those showing early symptoms. Pills that did not work. That were later replaced with cyanide as their active ingredient. For those who were brave enough to put their fingers near a loved one's mouth. The United States, Canada, Mexico, the virus swept down into South America and festered in the heat of the jungle. In some places it burned out. Superstition ruled and saved lives. But nothing stopped the virus. You wake up to the crackle of dead airwaves. Three months after the first diagnosed case of Currere Excessum was recorded, NATO approved Great Britain's use of nuclear force against the United States. It was assumed that all organic material would be reduced to ash under the impact. It was assumed that the Quarantine of the Americas would be temporary, at best. Any who survived the blast would be given the highest in humanitarian attention and medical care. The only American emissaries who knew of the plan lay incinerated in Washington. Welcome to your seventh year at Hogwarts! A seventh year filled with mystery, wonder and new and fantastic beasts. Where you spend your time working frantically towards getting the best N.E.W.T marks you can, or working towards that one last Quidditch trophy before it's off into the real world. A real world filled with the daily trivial events, bills, friends, laundry, cooking and cleaning the dishes. All of which are important for a young Wizard to know. Which is why ten years ago Headmaster Dohotty implemented a new class that would be held for the seventh year class during the second half of summer vacation. The first few years the class was an option for all students but it wasn't until 2024 that the class finally became a requirement for all seventh year students. All students will end their post-sixth year summer break early to return to school to take the class. Most of you won't be happy, but it's another month and a half spent with your best friends at school, with minimal teachers there, and no under classmen to watch over you. Hopefully you won't be getting into too much trouble?

Two years after Voldemort fell, the Wizarding world is still reeling from the mysterious returns of the dead and is under attack but by whom? Random attacks on both Muggle and Magical targets have left both sides pointing fingers. The DA is reforming. Will the Order be next?

Kingsley Shacklebolt is the Minister but who is really pulling the strings? With Lucius Malfoy under the possession of a Grindelwald object, the Greater Good is looking less good by the minute. The Boy Who Lived lies in a coma that has St. Mungo's Healers stumped.

For 1 ½ years, One AV has been a daily active RPG and we are open to active, adult interaction for canon characters. Check out our character list! We have active mods, quarterly game-wide arching plots, friendly writers and tons of activity!

We are seeking active players to step into two new recast roles: Severus Snape and Fenrir Greyback. Applicants should keep in mind that we follow book Canon up to the end of DH but excluding the epilogue.

Smart, attractive, and beloved by her supporters, no one really noticed when she started to let laws slowly go into play. After all, a decade had passed since any real evil had been around the wizarding world. What were a few little laws about members of the opposite sex living together before marriage really going to do? The world Harry and his friends live in is changing: new laws and political powers are taking away the rights of 'unideal' citizens in the name of making a safe world for the next generations- a resistance is rising, but the powers against it are strong. People like Terry Boot have already had jail time for opposing the new system. When a bright future is close for the majority of the world...is a few people getting the short end of the stick really that bad? Some support the laws- some don't.
