Once you've hit the big time and gained celebrity status, then you might as well kiss your privacy goodbye! Everyone wants to know all about you! Why? Because everyone knows that the lives of the rich and famous are far more interesting than anything else. In this community, that's exactly what will be played out. It's the lives of the rich and the famous- the good, the bad, and the ugly. The idea is simple. Just create a character that is a celebrity in some way- an actor, singer, author, photographer, etc... You've seen a tabloid! You get the point! Unlike most faux celeb PB communities, however, we're open to all types of celebrities, including journalists, trust fund babies with famous parents, Agents, and those who are famous for reasons that most of the world can't remember. |

Game opened this December! We are continuing to receive applications and have a long-term plot. This is a fantasy-western set in a frontier town called Sedona; the year is 1842. There are saloons, horses and other historical features. Emotionally-manipulative magic is enabled through the creation of perfume. Date Unknown; On the Indian Ocean there is an island that hasn't made it's way on any maps. The island itself is a wrinkle in time and exists on many planes at once. The island has magical abilities to keep her captors there and also has abilities to bring whoever she wants to the island. While the island has primarily focused on muggles she has a new fascination with witches and wizards. She can pluck any person out of any time line and bring them to her shores.
The island is inhabited with twenty muggles who have been able to survive on fruit, animals and makeshift shelters. They have taken over the southern part of the island where most of the food is found. As the island brings back witches and wizards she places them along the northern shore, her intentions are unknown.
Slowly as time goes on two distinct groups have formed between the witches and wizards, the Hunters and the Gatherers. Everyone who shows up at the island must choose a side. What will your character choose?
Most wanted characters include: Sirius Black, Albus Dumbledore, Fenrir Greyback, Rodolphus Lestrange, Alice Longbottom, Frank Longbottom, Neville Longbottom, Lucius Malfoy, Narcissa Malfoy, James Potter, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Andromeda Tonks, and Ronald Weasley.

These things lurk in the shadows, they're in your closet, under your sink, in your basement, in the woods - they're very real and very deadly. There's good news though, because for as long as poltergeists have been fucking with your plumbing, hunters have been around to take care of the problem. While the rest of the world is left in the proverbial (and sometimes literal) dark, hunters are out there. Knee-deep in the supernatural filth that haunts the world, they hunt down the things that most people only think exist in nightmares. They hunt them down, and then they kill them. It's a dirty, deadly job, but someone's gotta do it. |

It began with a vaccine. A way to protect those who weren't already afflicted with HIV, and to perhaps help cure those who were. It was meant to save mankind. Instead, it condemned them to extinction. Entire cities fell virtually overnight. Chaos filled the streets. Governments were overturned, anarchy became the new order. Hope was lost until, almost eighteen months after the ordeal first began, a small group of the brightest minds came together and created a plan to save the world. In 2025, New Hope was created. A large, domed facility built just outside Geneva, Switzerland, New Hope was meant to be their salvation. It was safe, from both the elements and the dying victims that still roamed the neighboring hills. There was a chance to start fresh, to create life once more. They simply had to find a cure. Unfortunately, with their own health waning and time running out, a cure was further from their grasps than the stars in the sky. The answer came, they thought, in the form of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The world's largest and highest-energy particle accelerator, LHC was capable of creating a gap, between time and space. It was with this theory that the scientists spent the final moments of their life preparing New Hope for the arrivals. Videotapes, audio recordings, even written instructions were set in place to answer any questions. The message they left was loud and clear. These arrivals were the last hope of a dying planet. Together, they may be able to find a cure. If not, it was up to them to ensure the planet survived. The year is now 2030. For five long years, New Hope has remained empty. The scientists are long since dead and the most amazing creation of their time is slowly crumbling from neglect and decay. Yet the LHC has never once faltered in its daily attempts to open the hypothesized rift. And at long last, it is beginning to succeed. New people are arriving almost daily. In 1996, the American musical was reinvigorated and redifined when a low-budget, unexpected production took the stage at the then rarely-used Nederlander Theatre in New York City. With its rock and poppy music and its messages of love, friendship, and hope in even the toughest of circumstances, Jonathan Larson's RENT not only fused the MTV generation with the ol' Broadway, but would continue to leave its audiences with a feeling of catharsis after its loud and proud finale. The musical would later go on to a successful 12-year run on Broadway, spawn numerous successful tours, and would be adapted into a movie with much of the original cast reprising their roles. All this was happening after its underrated playwright's tragic death. Jonathan Larson died in April of 1996, in the early morning of the same day RENT began previews off-Broadway. While Larson never got to see the impact his late musical made on the American public, the legacy lives on even after its Broadway close, and legions of fans continue to be inspired by the production. That's where The Libretto comes in. Taking place immediately after the curtain call of the original production, this community is intended to infuse the messages of RENT into both beloved and player-made characters, as well as to develop every bohemian into a 3D, personable character within themselves. In the familial atmosphere of the Life Cafe in the East Village, an anonymous, aspiring playwright has left a large, blank book to be viewed and written in by the cafe's various regulars. Jokingly called The Libretto by the cover, this book is used by the cafe's customers to get things off their chest, to ask for advice, or just to communicate within. And sometimes, the bohemians might just find messages from the hidden Librettist as well...
