Network: Touching Base
Who: Pandora and Hyperion
When: Thursday, January 18, 2010, late evening
What: Dora reaches out to her big brother cause she misses him, though good luck getting her to admit it.
Warnings: None
Public/Private: Private
MM to Big Brother: so how's the big bad auror doing back in the field?
MM to Big Brother: Did the desk make you soft?
MM to Pandora: It feels amazing to be back in the field, and don't worry, nothing could make me go soft
MM to Pandora: I've got my teeth into a hell of a case
MM to Big Brother: Uh huh. Pull my other leg ;)
MM to Big Brother: Oooh really. Anything you can tell me? My lips are sealed.
MM to Pandora: Okay, okay my little niblings definitely make me all soft and gooey
MM to Pandora: It's a trifecta of non-violent crimes that seem to point in the same direction
MM to Pandora: Whoever it is is a slippery bugger, the leads I've been able to track down so far haven't been able to identify them
MM to Big Brother: And let's not forget the bun
MM to Big Brother: Ah, a shadow man or woman then. Signs of spellwork? Memory charms?
MM to Pandora: I would never forget the bun
MM to Pandora: We're supposed to find out if the bun is a boy or girl tomorrow
MM to Pandora: Not definitive yet, but I can't rule it out
MM to Big Brother: I'm excited for you to find out ♥
MM to Big Brother: I can't wait to know if I'm going to have a niece or a nephew
MM to Big Brother: Hmmm. Sounds like a very interesting case. I do believe I'm jealous! Not that pregnancy brain is allowing me much in the way of thinking right now. But if I can offer any assistance, I'm here.
MM to Pandora: I'm excited too. Hoping to give McKay another boy to play with ;)
MM to Pandora: Maybe we'll get together for lunch soon and I'll lay out the details I can share with you, see if you might catch something I've missed
MM to Big Brother: Haha, yes, a bouncing baby boy ;)
MM to Big Brother: Are you two talking names yet, or are you waiting til you know so the list will be shorter?
MM to Big Brother: That would be brilliant. I'm happy to be a sounding board any time.
MM to Pandora: We're waiting. We've had so much going on and with me back in the field, things have been a bit more hectic
MM to Pandora: How about Monday?
MM to Big Brother: Understandable. I think we'veI've been doing the same thing.
MM to Big Brother: Maybe it'll be as easy as the last time.
MM to Big Brother: Sure thing. I'll make it work.
MM to Pandora: To be so lucky :) I'm hoping Zahara might be willing to follow Montgomery tradition with the name though
MM to Pandora: How have you been love? All settled in at the house now?
MM to Big Brother: that would be really nice, even if you went with a more anglecized version of a name
MM to Big Brother: I suppose so. There's still a couple of boxes but it's Ewan's things so he'll have to do it.
MM to Big Brother: it's so much bigger here, I don't even know what to do with myself now
MM to Big Brother: I miss you being right next door
MM to Pandora: Right, I haven't brought it up with her yet, but we'll see how it goes
MM to Pandora: You'll learn to enjoy the extra space, especially once the babies are more mobile
MM to Pandora: I'm not looking forward to seeing who our new neighbors might be. Good thing Zahara and I will be moving into our new house in a few months
MM to Big Brother: fingers crossed
MM to Big Brother: true. I have no idea how to keep up with them once they are. So far we're working very hard on rolling over. Ainsley has it in one direction but McKay is still figuring it out
MM to Big Brother: I'm sure. Can't wait to see it.
MM to Pandora: Magic ;) I'm sure you'll do just fine love. You are an excellent mum
MM to Pandora: Ahh McKay's just saving his energy so he can run circles around his sister later
MM to Pandora: We'll have plenty of room for you to bring the kids over, plus a pool ;)
MM to Big Brother: I don't feel excellent in anything lately
MM to Big Brother: shite I didn't mean to send that
MM to Big Brother: sounds brilliant. I'm glad to know the cousins will be able to run about as much as we did growing up
MM to Pandora: And yet your children are happy and healthy, your home put together in under a week, and your reputation as the charms queen is firmly in tact. I'd say that qualifies as excellent
MM to Pandora: Of course they will. And you know you'll be welcome over anytime
MM to Pandora: Between Coop, Fitz and I, all the land we bought and everything we're building, it's going to be heaven on earth for the kids ;)
MM to Big Brother: All hail insomnia, it makes me wonder mother. If only it would make me wonder wife
MM to Big Brother: I know. It's getting my shit together enough to get there. I miss you being right across the hall.
MM to Big Brother: It sounds like it. I'm really grateful they'll have that. I did love how we grew up.
MM to Pandora: Stop that Pandora.
MM to Pandora: We'll just have to make sure to stock up on things at the house so you don't need to tote as many things over
MM to Pandora: I did too. It's all I want for my children :)
MM to Big Brother: Oh come now, I'm Mistress of the Midnight Hour. ;)
MM to Big Brother: Well now that I'm getting a nibling, that should be easier since some things can be shared. Speaking of, hey I can give you baby things! Girl or boy, you're good to go on lightly used baby clothes at the very least.
MM to Pandora: I wasn't discounting that, but I won't put up with you putting yourself down. You're brilliant, love
MM to Pandora: I have a feeling we'll have more clothes than we'll know what to do with
MM to Big Brother: Thank you, darling. The world is just heavy right now, I suppose, so I'm feeling a bit farther down
MM to Big Brother: Truth. But here's the secret -- there will be a day when you look around and wonder if you have ANYTHING clean to use.
MM to Pandora: Well that's why you've got me, to remind you how amazing you are
MM to Pandora: I take it this means your husband isn't doing so?
MM to Pandora: The horror! I can't wait ;)
MM to Big Brother: It's very much appreciated. I'm just tired, I suppose.
MM to Big Brother: Oh, there's definitely horror too. You've not had the twins with an utterly busted diaper yet, I don't think.
MM to Big Brother: I'm starting to discover the horrors of drool. McKay is starting to teeth, I think.
MM to Pandora: I would argue that one. I've dealt with some pretty ripe messy diapers from them, especially McKay
MM to Pandora: It is about time for it, isn't it? Hopefully it won't be too painful for him. What about Ainsley?
MM to Big Brother: he does get especially gross at times. I have to wonder if it's because he's a boy ;)
MM to Big Brother: Yup, it is. But egads the drool. So far he's doing all right, but we'll see. She doesn't seem to be there yet with that, but I won't be surprised if she does soon.
MM to Pandora: It is almost definitely because he's a boy
MM to Pandora: Considering she's an over-achiever already, always trying to be ahead of McKay, I'm sure she'll start teething soon
MM to Big Brother: Ha! My suspicions are confirmed.
MM to Big Brother: I can just hear you shouting "like mother like daughter" over there.
MM to Big Brother: Do you think they'll be as bad as we were?
MM to Pandora: Oh oops didn't realize I was being so loud, hope I didn't wake the babies up ;)
MM to Pandora: I'd be surprised if they weren't. But you've lived it, I'm sure you'll keep up with them
MM to Big Brother: Nah, they're out cold right now. I'm jut having trouble winding down far enough to sleep myself.
MM to Big Brother: I'm aiming to be as unflappable as mother.
MM to Pandora: Read a book? That always puts me to sleep :P
MM to Pandora: Whoa, lofty goals there, but then you've always had those
MM to Big Brother: You know how to read? ;)
MM to Big Brother: Have to have some sort of ambitions.
MM to Pandora: Better if there's pictures too ;)
MM to Pandora: You've always been full of ambition
MM to Big Brother: Mmhm that's what I thought
MM to Big Brother: too full, really. But Mom goals are better than no goals
MM to Big Brother: thanks for letting me ramble at you. I should probably let you go to bed.
MM to Pandora: That they are
MM to Pandora: Probably. Tomorrow's a big day! ;)
MM to Big Brother: Enjoy, darling. Give Z a hug for me
MM to Pandora: Will do. Good night love
MM to Big Brother: Good night, darling ♥
