Re: Mandy and Calypso
Calypso chuckled as she pressed close. “It seems we’ll be going far.” She closed the distance between them and kissed her again, eyes slipping closed as they continued to move to the music. Calypso had a new favorite place, even if she didn’t run into this woman again… This place had been just what she needed to get out of the funk she had been in. She had been able to slip away and be someone else for a night, she hadn’t been able to get that anywhere else.
They continued to dance all night, until Calypso noticed Mandy’s attention wasn’t on her anymore. She followed her gaze to a man that seemed to be signaling for the other woman. Without a hint of jealously Calypso let Mandy slip away into the night, before she did the same thing herself. She didn’t want anything to ruin tonight, she knew if she left and went home right then she didn’t run the risk of doing just that.
As she slipped out the front door, she slipped off her mask and shook out her blonde locks. As her fingers ran through the light curls, they turned back to their natural color. She wanted to continue to ride the high when she got home and practice, instead she was going to focus on this feeling. Maybe she could recreate this moment at practice tomorrow morning… She had found herself a bit of inspiration, it seemed.
