She waited while the other woman slipped out to put the box in the trash. Zahara knew she was supposed to packing herself up to leave but watching Ruby moving and working made her want to do something, she was feeling more like a nuisance than anything. She was disturbing her own employee while she tried to work, she could be useful and actually help out instead of just standing around. Yet she knew she was supposed to be gathering Nancycat up after work and heading over to Hyperion’s, she wanted to leave on time. She really could be a terrible boss sometimes.
“Definitely handsome.” Neville did have his looks going for him. It had been what had her flirting with him that first night they had met in her parent’s yard. She had hired him to help her set up the green house for her mother in time for Christmas. “He’s not very outdoorsy, he only likes camping I suspect for the plant aspect? He likes being outdoors but I think he would like to have a house next to him and not a tent.” At least that was the impression she got from him, she could be wrong but she didn’t think she was too far off base.
She wondered if telling her his first name would give him away but she didn’t see the harm. There might be a lot of Neville’s for all she knew. “He’s a gentleman though, but he knows how to have a good time. The next time I have a karaoke night thing, you should come. I’ll make sure he gets out since school is over with. Neville needs to learn how to enjoy his free time more.” At least Zahara thought he did, while plants were interesting she didn’t think the stress of the school year had been good for him.
