RP: Running into a Mama Bear
Who: Genevieve and Emilia
When: Monday, June 19
Where: Outside Sweet Nothings
What: Gen and Em run into each other
Warnings: TBD, language and tension are almost guaranteed, I imagine
Gen had started her morning off with a run with Coop, which was so strange but in the best way. It had been a week since they'd started running together in the mornings together again, and things were definitely shifting. It was even different now than it had been on Friday, after she'd called him Saturday night with the news of Eloise's pregnancy. They'd made plans to spend more time together, for her to meet Wishes, and just... She was terrified she was getting in over her head, that it would end the same way it had last time, with broken hearts, and she knew it wouldn't be as easy to come back from if it happened again.
Because if soulmates really was a thing, he was hers. She knew it even if she wouldn't say it.
But that didn't make the problems they'd had any less real. They still needed to be dealt with. And she needed to deal with her own things, too. Which reminded her that she needed to contact Mr Urquhart and see if he was accepting new clients. It had helped to patch things up with Addi over the weekend, and then Eloise's news had been such a joy, even if it had caused a pang of sadness deep within her. But she wanted this for her sister, so she couldn't find it in herself to be jealous. And now she was in Sweet Nothings, picking up a variety of treats to send off to Eloise and Thomas.
She left the shop with a smile on her face and two containers of treats. Gen was just turning to head up and across to V-Bar to pick up something for dinner when she saw a blonde heading in her general direction. She stopped short and wondered if there was any way to avoid interacting with Coop's twin, but that would be the cowardly thing to do. And so, she stood a bit taller and continued on her way, even though it put her directly in Emilia's line of sight.
