This was her favourite part of any tasting: when the bride or groom realized that they were going to be eating cake in order to find the ones they liked the best. “Oh, I’m sure Ewan won’t mind it one bit,” she chuckled and poured both of them a glass of cold water. Normally, she would have served either a chilled champagne or a bottle of sparkling elderflower non-alcoholic cider, but since Ewan wasn’t here today and Pandora would be taking home her favourites, she would be sending the bottle home with her, so they could get the full experience at home.
“If you find more than one you like, we can combine them. We can either marble them, like I did with this one,” she pointed to the cinnamon and vanilla almond cake, “do a more geometric pattern inside the cake, or make a tier with each flavour combination.”
