Who: ZJ and Persephone
What: Girl's Night Out
When: January 14th (backdated sorry!)
Where: ZJ's Flat/V-Bar
Warnings: TBD
ZJ loved night’s like tonight. There was a nervous excitement in the air for her. She hadn’t seen Persephone in ages and it was going to be good to be able to catch up properly with her friend. The thought that she could potentially be moving into the building as well just more icing on the cake. In hopes that Persephone would move into the building, ZJ had made a point of cleaning up what little bits here and there that needed cleaning. The dishes got put away, the laundry in her closet, and Nancy was left to preen on her chair in the corner of the room.
The happy nervous energy had carried her throughout the day and ZJ had been ready a good ten minutes early, so when she heard the knock she was already ready and at the door. “Hey! Come in, I’ve missed you!” ZJ moved back from the door, “I was looking over the schedule for V-Bar and I don’t think they have karaoke tonight but they might since it is typically a Quidditch night but it’s the off season.”
ZJ didn’t assume that all of the apartments in her complex were exactly the same. She knew Gaspard and wouldn’t have been surprised if they were all different. She figured though that this would be a good opportunity to show Persephone her one bedroom flat. The front door opened up into her living room, where she kept a sofa big enough to fit a Kevin against one wall, and a chair for a Nancy cat. To the left was her kitchen, where there was a little windowsill on the far wall that let in light to the little plant that sat on the windowsill. If you touched one of the little green tentacles, the entire tentacle would give a happy little shiver. If you walked down the hall you’d find her bedroom and the bathroom at the end. It was barely decorated, and it only counted if you considered the afghan she threw over the back of the sofa to be a decoration and not just the blanket she cuddled while she read.
“Feel free to look around, don’t judge the bare walls, I’m getting there.” She said with a nervous laugh.
