Nico pursed up his mouth for a second, clearly thinking hard about something. "You're nice," he pronounced after a long pause. "You're nice, and I like you. You don't talk to me like I'm a stupid little kid. I like that." He leaned into Sol, wrapping his arms around her waist.
Sol, for her part, embraced him back.
"Ideas for the binding..." she said, as Nico's attention was captured by a particularly bright ink off to his left. "Do you know, I hadn't even thought about that? My first book sold solely because of the subject matter. You know everyone and his mum wanted to know just what it was like to go to school with The Harry Potter. I basically cashed in on our lucky coincidence. This book will be a slightly harder sell, I think—not because's a poorer book, but just trying to convince people to give it a shot."
She pondered the possibilities. "I suppose scratch and sniff binding would not be appropriate," she joked. "But it's hard to know what would work well with the subject matter, which is what makes me think it'd be a far better idea for you to read what I have and then us meet again to discuss ideas?"
