"Yes, sir," Nico answered politely. "Nicolás is the Spanish version of Nicholas, which is derived from the Greek Nikolaus. It means victory of the people." He grinned. "And I believe, sir, that the Marcus to whom you refer is Marcus Aurelius."
"And this is why I am sure my boy is going to wear the blue and brass, just like us," Sol said proudly. She had worked hard on Nico's manners, to the point where they were automatic for him, and she was endlessly proud of the well-mannered, intelligent young man she had managed to turn out.
"It is fiction, yes," Sol said doubtfully. "My first book as you probably know was a comedic, tongue in cheek sort of tell-all about what it was like attending Hogwarts with Potter wrecking up the place every twenty minutes. Very popular. But I wanted to turn my hand to something much more fictional. So... It's a romance."
