WHO: Evita
WHAT: Saying goodbye
WHERE: A graveyard in Philadelphia
WHEN: August 24, 9:30 AM
"Sorry I haven't come to see you in a while."
Evita stood in front of the marble, not even bothering to read the name that was so deeply engraved into the stone. "I don't really have an excuse... Not of course that you'd take any of my bull anyways." A small smile found it's way onto Evita's face. "You never did."
Evita just stood there for a long minute, staring at the ground as the sun beat down on her head and neck. Finally she started to speak again. "I found the guy. I know it's taken me a while, but I had to be sure it was him. I know what you would say about all of this, but I don't care. What he did that day... He's going to pay for what he did to you, to me, to everyone. An eye for an eye, Estella. He's taken a lot of thing, and I can't let it happen again." Evita sighed, running her fingers through her tangled hair. She was doing the right thing, right? "I know this is sort of a shitty visit, but somehow I don't think I'll be back, and I needed to say goodbye."
Carefully she knelt down and put the bouquet of forget-me-nots in front of her sister's grave. They were always Estella's favorite flower.
"I promise, Estella... I will find Erin Kirsche, and I will kill him- even if I die trying to do it."
